I'm 41yrs and still gaming, it's been amazing watching games evolve over the decades. I feel ya Tim about the struggles of dial up internet back in the day, I do miss landline phones though but only when they were cordless lol this generation will never experience the frustration we had from waiting for webpages to load & downloading files haha love ya work Tim
Its funny.. I'm sitting in my father's house... The house i grew up in (born in 87), the house i learned what internet was lol and dial up. My first computer games were warcraft, ages of empires, and a paintball game... I'm here unfortunately because my father passed away on the 24 of Dec. You talk about getting old and its funny cuz I've never even heard of this pushing p thing.. the first week I learned he had passed i binge watched your videos and 2 weeks of working on this house I'm relaxing a bit and watching a few of your videos... the intro is what gets me, tell someone you love them. Everyday were getting older and everyday is another that were getting closer to wishing we'd told someone that we love them. Off chance you see this tim, keep doing what you're doing its amazing the effect you can have on someone's life without intention. Take it easy man and for everyone else... tell someone you love them
I somehow didn't put it together that Tims mother wasn't here with him anymore. RIP to Mrs. Tatman. She would be so proud Tim. God bless. Id love to hear some more of Timmy and his mom stories growing up.
Pushing p actually means the act of two heterosexual males extending their anuses throughout intense straining and pressing them against each other in an anus kiss
Born 1975 ...laughing hard on the beginning of the internet line... we witnessed the birth of gaming at all! Atari, Commodore VC20 etc , Amiga and finally PCs keep up the good job ... entertained me alot already!!
I think this was one of my favorite videos, period! I think it was really cool going back in time and it was really chill. Great video Tim and Tim's team!
9:06 Lmfao Tim explaining dialup and landline has me dead. The worst thing about landlines is not being able to move away from the phone. Kids will never know the struggle of wanting to walk away with the phone but you can't.
Omg my mom would get tangled in the line cause would pace while talking to people. So when she wants to hang up the phone she's literally wrapped up in phone cord
They will never know the aggrevation of being mid multi-player match and the phone rings and getting kicked offline just so mom or dad could have a 30 sec conversation 😅
The thing that sucked the most about dial-up was being in the middle of a game like Diablo fighting the Cow King and someone calls your house to ask you if you want to play Diablo. Anytime someone called your house it booted you off the internet.
Just the fact that I had to relive that exact moment with Timmy explaining how his mother picked up the phone and he was disconnected...brings back such memories of 56k Dial up.... you'd wait DAYS just to download something that now takes only a few minutes if not seconds.. what a time that many won't understand.
Today is my 42nd birthday Tim! I was born in 1980. I do feel old. Still feel young tho. Wish streaming was a thing when I was 21 and in college. Missed my moment. Love you Timmy! and. Shut up Tim!!!
Tim explaining a land line phone made me realize how much things have changed even in the past 20 years. I just turned 29 a week ago and all this talk is making me feel older than I really am 🤣🤣🤣, great video Tim
You don't know, what you don't know. As an "older" guy, I miss everything single thing Tim described about the way things used to be and imo we were simply a better society overall because of it. Actually getting out to go to an arcade, getting the coinage, the slow ass internet that required absolute dedication if you wanted to get anything done. The landline phone? You'd get the super long extended crinkly cord so you could actually move around, especially if you talking to a girl. lol The massive woodgrain tube tv you would have to physically walk up to in order to change the channel. lol Call me old if you want, but those were far more beautiful times.
56k dial up was paaaainful. Try to do online shopping… yeah ok then 😂 I miss a lot from that time, but also glad things have also progressed as they have in regards to technology, not so much in social. At least we have knowledge over some youngsters, but need to keep in touch with the kid inside to ensure we don’t get lost later in life

Gotta say that guy at the end had my favorite comment this video lmao. “I’m just kidding I’ve already had a back surgery” all the context we needed for his age 😂
"I'm kidding I've already had back surgery" had me dead xDDD as a 25 myself, my back has been acting up so I invested in a good gaming chair and included deadlifts and squats in my workout routine at the gym, youre not alone tim, wish you the best!
Im older Tim but i had this same conversation the other day about dialup, arcades, everything ya said .... made me laugh knowing we both probably talked about this topic within days of each other lol
I remember going to school, taking my three N64 games with me and trading them for other games that my classmates had. We where essentially a community of gamers that couldn’t afford a lot of games. So if you wished a new game for birthday/Christmas, you had to ask your friends what game to get, so that we didn’t get one we all ready had. We also didn’t have RUclips so when you came to a stop at one of the games you had to ask someone that knew and could show you how to beat it. Memories that are close to my ❤️

What a wholesome little moment there with the elderly 25 year old with his back surgery
He uses a cane now but he is still pretty active! Good days and bad you know
That interaction was pure comedy
