  • Winter pansies are great value. They flower for ages, in autumn and winter until the first frosts when they'll stop flowering but they will pick up again when the warm weather comes back.
In this video I plant up a client's garden with autumn/winter colour. I have put dwarf daffodils, Narcissus 'Tete a tete', beneath the pansies for spring interest. So this planting scheme gives you two seasons of interest for not much money. I have also added some small conifers for evergreen structure and winter interest.
Winter pansies are also great in borders for a pop of colour at a time of year when it can be grey and rainy and we really need a splash of colour in our gardens.
    Happy planting!
