Blue Oyster Cult is one of my all time favorite bands and I will definetly be getting this album, as I have everything else by them. Sad if this is their last album as the last studio album they did was excellent as you mentioned.
It's a different sounding album, but still BOC great!!!

Hi Robert - thanks for the show. Bit of a surprise that BOC may be finally hanging it up. Never saw the main band but did see The Joe Bouchard Band once in Rochester NY once years ago.

Nice review Robert. Big fan of BOC and I loved the last album. I haven’t heard good things about this “new” one but you have given me some hope for it. I think I would have rather heard the new lineup re-recorded versions too.
I think that would have been amazing. Production could have been better
Hi Robert!! Glad to see you got the latest release from BOC, but sad to hear it's their last studio album...... i had no idea about it and how it was put together using old tracks, but i think three covers is to much. Anyhow, cool to hear you enjoyed it. cheers and be well
It's an interesting album that grows on you. All great except for the Beatles cover.

I'll be getting this on vinyl for my birthday next month (as BOC usually released records in spring, this became tradition growing up). I had to get the LP just because its the last studio album. And while it is indeed sad, I'm just thankful we got 2 new records 50+ years after the band started recording long long ago.
I truly hope you enjoy it, and have a wonderful Birthday listening to it my friend 😊

I just got my copy too. Interesting CD…it’s growing on me. Just not a huge fan of the Beatles cover.
That’s my least favourite as well Chris. The rest of the album gets better each time though!
