Some of these need to be seen on a wall! Especially the triptych! I was on the edge of my seat waving to see what ever you would do to connect the 3rd canvas! Gorgeous! ❤️💕❤️

Hi Scotty, Thank you so much for watching and for taking the time to leave these kind words, the comment, and great feedback, I really appreciate it :) Yes and me i love painting a painting over more then 1 canvas :) By the way Scotty i thought i had answered your question about the glow in the dark spray, I hadn't (Sorry) so i'll answer it now :) the brighter you want it to glow the more layers of it you have to put on, you also have to use a light colour under it for it to glow better, and also don't do each layer back to back if going around stencils wait for it too dry a bit before adding the next layer, hope this helps you Scotty :)
Gorgeous painting. I love how you offset the canvases. It made for a more interesting perspective. I actually didn’t find it being sped that distracting. Usually I do but I understand why you did it. Also there is not a lot of extraneous background noise which can be off putting when sped up. My only critique of this work would be that the shoreline was a bit too straight. But that is just me. Excellent effort.
Hi Lisa, Thank you so much for watching and for taking the time to leave these kind words, the comment, great feedback, and the suggestion I really appreciate it :) Yes i did think that about the shoreline myself after it was finished, it should of been at a more diagonally line with less mist on the waterfall canvas :)
Hey Jon really love your work and have learned so much from your videos. Really inspired by your work. So after you put a clear coat what do you gloss the finish with.
Hi Chris, Thank you so much for watching and for taking the time to leave this comment, feedback, and the question, I really appreciate it :) i use a clear coat which as a gloss finish hope this helps :) It's also nice to hear that you are inspired by my artwork and love my paintings and that you have learnt from them :)
Love the work.i want to spraypaint on the wall outside soon.youve given brilliant information and skill What is the measurements of the paper you use to spraypaint on,in other posts?I can't afford to buy 8 canvases a week to practice on. Love the posts/are work and skill.
Hi John, Thank you so much for watching and for taking the time to leave these kind words, the comment, and the feedback I really appreciate it :) Go for it John, I'm sure you will enjoy it :) The size of paper/card I use can vary, but I mostly use A2 and A3 size paper hope this helps :)
hi :) I love ur videos and ur artwork so much bro. I'm trying to get into spray paint art and wanna stay safe while doing it of course. how long do you wait until u replace the filters on ur respirator? thanks :)
Hi No name, Thank you so much for watching and for taking the time to leave these kind words and this comment, and the feedback, I really appreciate it :) It's also nice to hear you love my videos and my artwork :) :) It depends on how much painting you do to be honest, the more you wear your mask the less the filters will last, also a tip when you are not using the mask put it in a bag and tie it up that way while you are not using it dust and stuff can't get on the filters and in the mask :) (this is what i do) hope this helps :)
Hi Billy, Thank you so much for watching and for taking the time to leave these kind words and this comment, and the feedback, I really appreciate it :) I do sometimes, but only locally to where i live at the moment.
From a noob as well. Spray can lids, coke bottle lids, plastic walmart cups, anything you can find at goodwill that has a straight cut to the paper. No rounded edges or hidden lip edges. Remeber to use rock, nuts and bolts to hold them down while spraying(learned that one the hard way) Big tip...wait for planets to dry quite a bit before covering them back up to spray the rest. Otherwise, it can leave a cut ring around it.
Hi Parker, Thank you so much for watching and for taking the time to leave this comment, and the question, I really appreciate it :) The lids i use are from old round food tubs, but any kind of round lid can work, just make sure that the lip on the lid is thin, that way less of it is touching the painting :) Is the slight ring around the planet where the lid was sitting or is it around the planet after you take the stencil off, like a thin black ring around the planet and the background?
@@JonBarberArt thanks for the response! And it’s after I take the lid off where you can see the slight ring of removed paint.. thinking I just need to keep looking for some thinner lipped lids
Hi Parker, if it's the lid leaving the ring, let the painting dry before placing the lid onto the painting that way you shouldn't get the rings there, also if you are using weights to hold the lid stencil in place then it has to be dry because the weight of the weights will push the lid into the paint if wet, ever a thin lip if the paint is wet will leave a ring, i hope this helps :)
Hi D.D, Sorry for the late response, Thank you very much for watching and for taking the time to leave this comment, and the question, I really appreciate it :) The clear spray paint i use at the end is called clear coat hope this helps :)
