1950s Federal Telephone and Radio Corporation HYBRID Transformer
Impedance = 600 : 600 ( Primary : Secondary )

Frequency range = 20~20,000 CY ± 1 DB
Secondary is terminated with 600 ohm resistor for matching to QUAD 22 tube pre amplifier.
This attempt is monaural reproduction that applies the split coil of the transformer.
The left and right stereo signal outputs are received by the split coil (300 ohm + 300 ohm) input on the primary side of the transformer. The signal fused during electromagnetic wave conversion is reborn as a monaural signal inside the transformer. The monaural signal output from the secondary coil (600 ohm) is passed to the right input of the amplifier.
＊ In 1920, when the AT & T company split, ITT took over most of Western Electric's overseas divisions and became the world's largest conglomerate. One of its subsidiaries, FED.TEL. AND RADIO CORP. (Federal Telephone and Radio Corporation = FTR), was established in 1940 as the manufacturing division of ITT. It took over the Bell Telephone Manufacturing Company (BTM), a large factory in Antwerp, Belgium. The factory used to make Western Electric licensed products. FTR was a national policy company with a strong military demand, such as signing an order contract for military radar with the US government when the United States entered the war in Europe.
This transformer has its roots in the western electric manufacturing method.
