That's amazing, unfortunately it's not that way for a majority of Addicts, addiction is a product of evil of Satan, and sadly it's much harder for most to see past it and they abandon everything they have for their next fix, you are an exception and I commend you, you would make a good counselor. I doubt this comment gets read, but i feel like i need to share... I spent 15 years rippin and runnin doing heroin. All types of crime, homelessness, turning girls out. Whatver it took to keep my habit alive, i was gonna do it. I went to county jails, countless rehabs, and finally prison. Ive been clean for 7.5 years now. Been out of prison for about 5. I started a painting business 6 months after i got out and its still growing. Ive got an amazing wife and step kids. One of the step kids now works full time for me as a painter. Ive been a fan of yours for about 4 years now. I just want to say thanks for your music A Cal. Its gotten me through some tough times. Appreciate you brother. You da man!

We have generational trauma/parental abuse, environmental degradation, political division and war, religious fundamentalism/extremism/legalism, we have health issues (mental/emotional/physical) and ultimately death. Wealth disparities, inflation, taxes and extreme poverty/homelessness. The school to prison pipeline/societal indoctrination. Wage slavery, car pileups, communication breakdowns, domestic abuse of all types, national crisis like droughts, famine, & natural disasters. We have much of the arts run by a few corporations. We have people without adequate clothing, food and shelter. We have a massively corrupt sports industry. Animal abuses of all types from domestic to factory farmed meat where baby pigs teeth are ripped out with no anesthesia. We have book burning in the modern world.. celebrity worship.. this world is an absolute dumpster fire trainwreck and the best thing we can do is wipe our hands clean of it and let it all go with nothing but a whimper. A sea of suffering will be prevented and all those who never were will thank us in the end.

This life story hits close to home...12 years ago I was a cold heartless womanizing piece of crap. Drinking, sleeping around, never stayed faithful to anyone. My kids (now 21 and 17) had to see me like that and every day I hated myself more and more. Enter my now wife...she called me out and told me if thats the life i wanted then she wouldnt be a part of it. I started to change to be the man i wanted to be...for her, for my kids but most importantly myself. 11 years together, just celebrated 3 years married, a 8 yr old daughter and through all the ups and downs in life she is still here. Adam you are one of my favorite artists because you keep it real and speak from the heart. Keep spreading that message because the world needs it.

We have generational trauma/parental abuse, environmental degradation, political division and war, religious fundamentalism/extremism/legalism, we have health issues (mental/emotional/physical) and ultimately death. Wealth disparities, inflation, taxes and extreme poverty/homelessness. The school to prison pipeline/societal indoctrination. Wage slavery, car pileups, communication breakdowns, domestic abuse of all types, national crisis like droughts, famine, & natural disasters. We have much of the arts run by a few corporations. We have people without adequate clothing, food and shelter. We have a massively corrupt sports industry. Animal abuses of all types from domestic to factory farmed meat where baby pigs teeth are ripped out with no anesthesia. We have book burning in the modern world.. celebrity worship.. this world is an absolute dumpster fire trainwreck and the best thing we can do is wipe our hands clean of it and let it all go with nothing but a whimper. A sea of suffering will be prevented and all those who never were will thank us in the end.

This life story hits close to home...12 years ago I was a cold heartless womanizing piece of crap. Drinking, sleeping around, never stayed faithful to anyone. My kids (now 21 and 17) had to see me like that and every day I hated myself more and more. Enter my now wife...she called me out and told me if thats the life i wanted then she wouldnt be a part of it. I started to change to be the man i wanted to be...for her, for my kids but most importantly myself. 11 years together, just celebrated 3 years married, a 8 yr old daughter and through all the ups and downs in life she is still here. Adam you are one of my favorite artists because you keep it real and speak from the heart. Keep spreading that message because the world needs it.

Im only 2 years older than your son. But if my stepdaughter and fiancé hadn't come into my life I would not be here. So I understand a good part of this. When she and I got back together after high school and after the bullshit of our previous relationships, I had the light I needed back. So trust when I say you are an amazing man and father. You've fixed your mistakes and have become amazing brother.
I was on drugs for 8 years but my wife of 13 years stayed with me thru it all we went thru 3 houses living with her parents twice losing everything we had to having our own home 2 vehicles a boat a dog kids got more pets.... 3 outta 4 kids had cancer my wife lost a eye to cancer and thru it all what you say is true as true gets I've been clean for 3 years now and life couldn't be any better with my babies and amazing wife you go adam may you be blessed many times over and over as i have

My wife and I have been married for 12 years and she has stuck with me through all the wild times while she stayed home and took care of the kids. The last few weeks have been rough because I have been really down on the fact that my business isn't making me a trillion dollars, but sometimes we have to step back and be grateful for what we do have.
