  • Seguin (/sɪˈɡiːn/ sih-GEEN) is a city in and the county seat of Guadalupe County, Texas, United States;[4] as of the 2020 census, its population was 29,433.[5][6] Its economy is primarily supported by a regional hospital, as well as the Schertz-Seguin Local Government Corporation water-utility, that supplies the surrounding Greater San Antonio areas from nearby aquifers as far as Gonzales County. Several dams in the surrounding area are governed by the main offices of the Guadalupe-Blanco River Authority, headquartered in downtown Seguin.

    What about the giant Pecan Downtown? Is/was Pecan capital of the world. If you'd gone South just outside of town toward Corpus you'd went by my Great Uncle Bob's and Aunt Bertys old house if it's still there. Used to grow Watermelons right next to the highway. I traded a bunch for gas and breakfast to get back to Corpus. Cool story. Thanks for the memories.

    You missed Texas Lutheran University. it surely is the highlight of the town
