I got a note from the folks a Wallke this morning. They saw the video and are sending me a new kickstand, derailer and hardware! These are both good components that I smashed being a knucklehead and they still work. They still went above and beyond to hook me up anyway! What a great company!
Hi.. I got the H6 as soon as it came out. I love it so far. Swapped out the factory seat for a Cloud 9 seat, and for long rides, it's amazingly smooth. Swapped out the pedals because they were too small and put the RedShift Arclight pedals on, great for night riding. Also, put a Bright Eyes 1800 lumen light on the handlebars cuz the stock headlight doesn't put out much other than to see what's directly in front of you. Have gotten mine up to 38 mph and it handles awesome, and the range is awesome as well. Went on a few 30-mile rides and still 60-70 percent left on the batteries, and that is using PAS and throttle. Great review on a great bike. 2 thumbs-up
Cheers! I'm at about 350 miles on mine and gonna do another video here soon on a few things I've encountered. I put studs on the tires and this thing handles snow and ice no probs. Def gonna add more lights. Those pedals sound cool. gonna look into those. My rear battery got stuck so be sure to keep the that track clean and lubricated.
I have the Wallke Aniioke A7 Pro, which is very similar to the H6. First thing I did was pitch those goofy handlebars and put on a set of Odyssey BMX handlebars with mushroom grips and donuts...just like I had in the 80s. Looks and handles so much better. I also removed all of the spiral wrapping and rewrapped the wiring with black zip ties.
Yeah there's one in that bag. You can see it at 9:04. The lock that comes with the bike isn't the best but it's good to lock your seat to the bike. Or run it through a wheel to the frame.
Beautiful informative & detailed review. I’m seriously thinking 🤔 about pulling the trigger on this same bike. They have it on sale now for just over $2k. It seems like one helluva bike @ one helluva price. New Subscriber 🙋♂️ here. Thank You 🙏 the comparison with the Honda ct90 makes all the practical sense to me.
This looks a great bike for the money. The only thing I’d like to see is some good strong mag wheels. Getting that rear wheel off for flats, truing, or other maintenance must be a chore😂 I’m definitely still considering it though, can’t lie.
I've seen those other bikes with the Bafang mags. They look awesome! But for any kind of off-roading spokes are the way. I've pulled the rear wheel off this bike a few times. a little awkward because of the motor and heavy tires. And a traditional bike stand is useless for these beefier bikes. I ratchet strap the rear off the ground a bit from the garage ceiling and it's easy. If you decide to buy one use my link! Got almost 800 miles on mine and love it more every day.
You'll dig it. It was a little awkward for me at first getting used to the geometry of this but now that I have 60 miles on it I'm totally into it. Seems bulky and heavy at first but once you get going it's very nimble.
@@notreallyhoffman Nice! Enjoy that throttle and all that extra battery! I got the Wicked Cruiser instead, 60 Volt 20 Ah but it does 39 mph just throttle and for 1,999$. Im happy. I really like the green color and the back frame and seat on that wallkie tho.
When I ordered my H6, Wallke was sold out of their $120 rear basket. Spent an hour on Amazon and found what looks like the same one. It is less than $35. Dimensions are a little less than 21x18x6 .
Cool shoot me a link so I can check it out. The Wallke basket has grommets that allow you to slide into the rack easy. But you can bolt anything to it. I love to see a pic of yours to share with folks. I did a video about mounting a Plano box to the rack using the hardware from the basket. Works great!
Yeah, I like a seat with springs...ones that actually work and aren't just decorations. As for a basket, a milk crate works for me, light weight and attached with zip ties. .
I've noticed that if you leave it out in the cold it takes a minute for the bike to turn on. like the screen takes a minute to warm up and turn on or something. other than that, it's doing well in the cold.

I'll take a closer look at the decals. I Tried a little spot with a blade, but I think they have a thin clear coat over them. I didn't try very hard. Wasn't ready to open that can of worms yet. The heatheat gun might work. Lemme go out and look closer. I believe the first run of H6 had the rattle issue and they addressed it. Not sure how. Mine is in there almost too tight so I hadn't given it any thought. I broke the input on my rear battery. I think it was able to rattle around to much and the connector couldn't handle the stress from jumping curbs and potholes. It still works but They sent me a new battery top pretty quick and am about to make a video on how to keep that from happening. I'm going to try some self-adhesive foam some way or another. A touch of that would probably solve your front battery issue too. I wish I could post a pic of what I'm talking about on here...
Don't know how long my h6 was in inventory but I couldn't get the batteries out either, so once I did get em out I wiped some silicone around the inside frames and that helped. Mostly with the rear one. Now it falls into place
@@geoffreypauers9019 yeah I had to lube mine too. Another guy figured they assemble these right after the paint dries but not entirely cured so everything sticks a little till you ride it or do any disassembly. Getting the rear wheel off was a chore.
I just went out and worked on one of the decals on the swing arm. Good news it's not clear coated. Bad news, these decals are a super thin tin or aluminum. getting them off without trashing the paint will be real tedious. I got about 75% of the W and got over it.
I've only done 20 mile rides and havent come close to 50%. I keep the bike in 8th gear, use the throttle to get to speed then start pedaling on pas5. So I'm not easy on it at all. This is in freezing conditions so dont want to push the batteries to hard or drain them to much. Having reaaly been able to test thoroughly thanks to winter weather
Yeah the steering stem is a normal size. I have a BMX set up on this bike now. I literally took it right off my racing BMX and stuck it on the H9. You might need a steering tube extender unless you use taller bars. I went with 12” bars and they work great.
Feasibly yes but You would have to add foot pegs to the swing arm. To be honest. It wouldn’t be the greatest for that. There are bikes out there specifically designed for a passenger.
Appreciate the reply. Yeah I drawn to the fiido t1 pro because it can take 80kg on the rear. But it’s 20ah. Was hoping for a bit more as I have long journeys.
I just looked at the T1 and it looks ok. No rear suspension so I guess that's why the capacity is rated higher. The H6 rack is rated at 150lbs (68Kg) . You get a suspension seat post on the T1 though. It looks like it has the same drawbacks as the H6 as far as a passenger goes. Let me look and see if there are foot pegs available that would work on the H6 swing arm. I'd been planning on looking into that for my little ones, but they prefer riding their own bikes. They grow up so fast lol.
These are the style of foot pegs I would recommend. The holes might need to be drilled out a bit to fit over the large diameter axles on ebikes. On the right side of the bike, there's a derailleur guard that could rest a foot. just add a footrest to the other side.
Great video & awesome collection of machines. Thanks! Subbed & 🔔. I received my H6 with just the 21 aH battery. Separately shipped just two days later was a 13 aH. I watched a factory video of the back tire removal but I haven’t done it yet. You take off the brake caliper first. Remove the black caps from the bolts then everything should come apart. Be sure to unplug the motor
And Thanks! Pushing 100 miles or so on mine. Digging it. I bought tannus liners for it. Installing them this weekend. My front tire seemed to go flat quick, but it holds air fine now. I think these tires require a sort of break in period. After the first inflation and bit of riding they stretch and seem to go flat. I thought I had punctured mine but after a few inflations it's great. run mine between 13-15psi up front and 17-20 in the rear. Cheers!

How did you change the screen settings to be upside down? Or sideways.
I rotated the screen. You just file down the plastic tab on the back of the screen. then you can rotate it in the bracket whichever way.
So how does it handle in the snow? I live in Toronto and want to figure out if it can handle the winter here
