you can do this type of co2 with a soda bottle there is a fish store in San Fra that adds co2 that way called the way spot great looking tanks but I see no need to BUY the glass thing, I mean if you are going to pay $$ for a co2 system get a modern set-up that will get more co2 to your plants and look better
Hello! I know this video was posted about a year ago or so, but do you mind me asking what type of lights you have on this planted tank? its very bright and want to possibly get one for my tank.

You messure the surface it got and how deep it is not how much gas there is. Depends on the amount of water/pumps/plants/fishes and such what you need. Don't know how to messure how much there is in the water but it's a stable way of doing it that will slowly add all day and night. Add more or put it further down for more CO2 and the oposite for less btw a soda bottle that is weighted down is popular. Can't be adding to much and is probebly fine for smaller tanks

The co2 is in the glass cup it will dissolve slowly into the water colum this way no c02 get wasted

Same way as a shaken can of soda absorb the gas agien if you just wait a little while. Goes kinda fast whit some pressure.

A can will normally last about 30 days. It will last longer if smaller amounts of CO2 are used (for smaller aquariums).
