This is the first time actually typing a comment on a reaction video. I live in Tennessee USA and just heard this song for the first time. I'm a 57 year old man and still crying from the moving lyrics. I struggle with my own addictions and failures but needed this reminder that God still loves me because He is love.

Actually, this is not a new song. Gary wrote this song in the 1980s and from there it became one of the popular worship songs in the Philippines. He is a living miracle to God's amazing grace having battled diabetes (type 1), a bypass surgery and kidney cancer and still standing strong.

I love the fact that you are preaching Christ without hesitation. Most reactors avoid talking that this song is a Christian song, but you, you talk about it without reservation and it really amazes me. I got inspired. As Christians, we should never hesitate or feel awkward to talk and share about our faith.

This is Gary V's original song. Recording was done over 30 years ago... This is what we Filipino's grew up Listening. Gary is a blessing to all of us, he himself is blessed... He is diabetic and had an open heart surgery last year so he is continuously blessing us with his talent.

Why do you have to say he's an alien? Gary is a filipino becausr his father is filipino. That's what matters. The problem with us filipino is we segregate and qualify each other. We call those whose either parent is a foriegner as "half-filipino" or "fil-foriegn". Our Constitution never gave such decription or segregation. Just on citizenship, that is FILIPINO. That is why we filipinos are a bit divisive. Let's stop this classification and be united.

His friend has it. He has type 1 diabetes and has been taking insulin shots since he was young. He recently survived an open heart surgery. He is known to make beautiful gospel songs and pop songs. He always sings from the heart. He is my all time favorite ever since I was a kid. 😊 Keep safe. All we can do right now to HELP is to Stay Home and pray, pray pray. On year 2003 we had a class recolection in a missionary house, when a priest gave us a lecture about our dear lord, the priest start to put up a music, and it was TAKE ME OUT OF tHE DArK and warrior is a child, and after that all of us start cryin realizing the importance of believin and have faith to god.. It was sad and happy memories to reminice at this time

He is also diabetic so performing every night not just singing but with lots of dancing was really hard but he always give it his best. You may check his youtube channel to see his performances but one thing that has set him apart from many other stage performers is his love for singing praises- Take Me Out Of the Dark, Shout For Joy, Warrior Is A Child and Lift Up Your Hands among many other amazing worship songs.
