Fr. Ciszek's cause was actually started by our bishop of blessed memory + Michael Dudek of the Byzantine Catholic eparchy of Passaic NJ. Fr. Ciszek was friends with Bishop Michael & would occasionally help in our eparchy. The cause was then transferred to the Roman Catholic church.
