Sexuality is quite fluid, it can take on different forms with different people for different reasons. 99% of my attractions: women. The only guy that I'm attracted to is my husband. But that is only part of the reason for our relationship. Personality goes a LONG way to keeping together.

I came up with this metaphor for sexuality and it is that sexuality is like ice. Ice can’t change to water when it wants. It depends on the circumstances and environment. Sometimes it never changes and ice is ice. But sometimes it will start to melt and change but that isn’t necessarily forever. It can turn back to ice. It could stay as water. But it is all about the surrounding situations as much as what goes in inside it’s structure to become something else. I believe sexuality is fluid but in a way where it can change but not by force. It changes innately. Like ice to water.

As a GAY man, having had an attraction to a handful of women sexually doesnt change my identity as a gay man. That is what I am. I am emotionally and sexually attached to men. I recognize an attractive woman but I am still a gay man. Im sure the men in the video share the same sentiments considering how cavalierly they discussed sexual attraction to women.

Are you really saying sexuality is all about who gets you dick hard? Its at ones own discretion. Who taught you to believe otherwise? It is important that we dont further blur the lines between bisexuality and homosexuality. Bisexuality is already blurred and lumped in to homosexuality due to the stigma and approaching it the way you do adds to that. The disclaimer is a good idea. Every gay person is different. Their experiences differ, even their sexuality differs. That's something most straight people seem to have a hard time comprehending. You could have a hundred gay people in a room and every single one could have different preferences, different mannerisms, different sexualities, yet all still be technically "gay". I bet there is just as much variety in the heterosexual community, they just don't like talking about it or maybe don't really realize it.
I understand when people say, they are more attracted to a certain sex, they only had serious relationships with that sex, be they straight or gay, but when they say they find the other sex unattractive, (almost) repulsive, that's when I think there might be something wrong with them. Not making them in any way bad, just giving them less chance to be happy even if only by admiring beauty. I can understand what he said about the weird tension when your hanging out with female friends alone, I remember recently when I was at my best friends house (she’s a really pretty girl.) and we were laying on her bed about to go to sleep (I was sleeping over, yes her parents know and yes they know I’m gay and they trust us lol) and we faced each other in bed for a sec and i legit could sense the sexual tension. Guys, you can still be gay and find women attractive. For me, some women are just aesthetically pleasing to look at, but when it comes to sexual attraction, it ain’t there. Don’t be afraid of not fitting into categories, everyone is different and you don’t always need to put a label on yourself.

The crush of my life is gay. I told him that I had feelings for him but he just laughed it out off without really giving me a clear response. We haven't talked for over a year now because things got a little awkward after that and I am embarrassed to reach out to him because I still have feelings for him and am afraid of facing him.

A gorgeous straight friend and I popped each other's cherries after a game of truth or dare. We we're "butties" for about 3 years. He eventually got a taste of women and loved it. However he still kept coming back to me. I am still the only guy he's ever been with. It's been years since I've seen him. Being a straight man I am sure that being gay is not a choice. I've had my experiences with both gay and straight men and guys just don't do anything for me sexually at all. as far as 20's-30's it was definitely not that late in life

@Reckoning Recognizing the spectrum is not hard. It exist for a reason because sexuality is nuanced. As a GAY man, having had an attraction to a handful of women sexually doesnt change my identity as a gay man. That is what I am. I am emotionally and sexually attached to men. I recognize an attractive woman but I am still a gay man. Im sure the men in the video share the same sentiments considering how cavalierly they discussed sexual attraction to women.
@Reckoning Sexuality is partly identity and emotions do play a role. If they didnt Pansexual/Panromantic wouldnt be considered a valid sexuality and it *IS*. Are you really saying sexuality is all about who gets you dick hard? Its at ones own discretion. Who taught you to believe otherwise? It is important that we dont further blur the lines between bisexuality and homosexuality. Bisexuality is already blurred and lumped in to homosexuality due to the stigma and approaching it the way you do adds to that. I dont represent bisexuality as a man who can see an attractive women naked and *maybe* get aroused 15 to 20% of the time and see a man naked and get aroused usually 100% of the time as well as crave and attempt to create an emotional attachment to that man vs. the woman. I fall on the spectrum as a gay man. Period.

The disclaimer is a good idea. Every gay person is different. Their experiences differ, even their sexuality differs. That's something most straight people seem to have a hard time comprehending. You could have a hundred gay people in a room and every single one could have different preferences, different mannerisms, different sexualities, yet all still be technically "gay". I bet there is just as much variety in the heterosexual community, they just don't like talking about it or maybe don't really realize it.

I understand when people say, they are more attracted to a certain sex, they only had serious relationships with that sex, be they straight or gay, but when they say they find the other sex unattractive, (almost) repulsive, that's when I think there might be something wrong with them. Not making them in any way bad, just giving them less chance to be happy even if only by admiring beauty. Me not understanding, not being able to truly empathise doesn't mean anything much, it's my feelings, just like these are their feelings.
How can you really dislike men and only like women or the other way? Ah, it's a rhetorical question, I know.

I can understand what he said about the weird tension when your hanging out with female friends alone, I remember recently when I was at my best friends house (she’s a really pretty girl.) and we were laying on her bed about to go to sleep (I was sleeping over, yes her parents know and yes they know I’m gay and they trust us lol) and we faced each other in bed for a sec and i legit could sense the sexual tension. We even joked about it and said “I feel like we are about to make out like how lesbian porn videos play out at sleep overs, that straight guys watch.” Idk maybe it’s just a universal feeling? Which could explain why straight men and women also feel that way sometimes with attractive close gay/bisexual friends and end up experimenting. I honestly wouldn’t mind tbh, just to see what it’s like, but I know for a fact I still prefer men lol
