True. that is a real advantage of owning an Ultra or Note series. It offers so much that we aren't tempted by yearly upgrades. The S23U is such a phone.
Bro I’m thinking of getting a new s23 ultra or an used one under warranty i am not an hardcore gamer and pro camera man u want a fast smooth day to day normal usage with an excellent camera or shall i get the new s24 plus ?
@ashithreddy2760 I would say save a few extra bucks and get the S23U. Unless the S24U has a great sale or something. I don't game on my phone at all and I'm not a camera expert but I think the camera is great. Honestly my S23U works so smooth. No issues whatsoever.
Been using the S23 Ultra for two Christmases now, and it's still a badass phone to date. The camera has been superb, and the battery still holds up well with newer phones. Performance has been excellent.
My only complaint about this phone is finding a quality screen protector. All screen protectors eventually peel off at the curved edges. Other than that, it's a beast.
Try Dome Glass Whitestone. Maybe it is a bit more expensive, but it's worth it. I applied mine 10 months ago, and nothing is peeled off. If you do exactly everything step by step, you will be happy with it. Believe me, I did it a first time, and I could manage. Everything is explained perfectly. Just take your time and good lighting.
Whitestone Dome or AmFilm I've installed literally over 10 of these, 4 on my personal S23Us, with 0 error outside of user error when I sneezed. Flawless when executed correctly
Absolutely still a beast, I'm only upgrading to the S25 Ultra because my S23 Ultra has cracked, and I'm not replacing the display if I can't properly protect it with a glass screen protector.
I bought the 512gb version a few months ago for $800, and I really enjoy it. It's my favorite Android phone I've used in a while, and probably tied with the Moto Razr 2024 for my favorite Android phone I've ever used.
I got my S23 ultra on the release date. I love it, especially for photography. People ask what type of camera I use. They're shocked when I tell them S23 ultra factory settings.
@@JDMAN-wq5re just a bit worse when was new. But really not big difference. It lasts for one day without problem. Still got around 20% in the end of the day
It still has a beautiful camera a strong chipset I know it isnt the best but it is enaugh for everything battery life is really good and its cheap of course its worth it
i have the regular s21. non-ultra version and the phone is stellar still. sometimes it overheats and it's helpful me shut it down 5 to 15 minutes. but i overwork it for long durations and rapid charged it, so i use it to max capacity alot. i listen to youtube playlists on the go and speechify. it's been stellar. but when it overheats, youtube becomes choppier micro pauses throughout a video that happen rather frequently. i think apple products go into the range of luxury, where as samsung is more practical, samsung does all the big things i want such as speechify and youtube without being as costly price point as apple. that's just my opinion. i tried apple, and went back to samsung maybe it was also the learning curve apple intrusive on my music collection whereas samsung wasn't as intrusive. etc.
I bought the s23 ultra 10 months after it was launched at a heavily discounted price and comparing it to my friends s24 ultra not much of an upgrade other than the 7-year software support and I really don't know anybody in their right mind to keep the phone for 7 years and now looking at the S25 ultra again not a significant upgrade or design change, not for me thanks
Samsung needs to support the s22U & S23u for the full 7 years. They're supporting those junk A series phones for 7 years. There's absolutely NO reason to not. Hopefully, Samsung extends the support the fingers crossed
I will have my S23ultra 2 years in February. Bought it too replace my S21ultra because we were going to Hawaii and wanted it for pictures. From what I have seen not much of a difference to make me go to the s25ultra. Think I will wait for the 26 series. Unless something goes wrong.
Really thinking about to upgrade to one, since I'm still using my s20 and I noticed so much background noise in videos that it's really hard to film some good looking content on it. Only Videos in bright sunlight look really good, in a little darker setting it looks bad. At least Photos still look quite good😅
They did away with the Bluetooth on the s25ultra and I'm a photographer and I use the spen to take pictures so I'm not getting that one, I'll probably get the s24ultra. I have the S23ULTRA.
Watching this on my S23 Ultra. I loooooove this phone. Keeping it until it stops working.
I second that motion great phone

Hows the battery after all this time
Watching this on my S23 Ultra and it's still a beast of a phone and I can definitely see myself using it years down the line👍👍
Holding one in my hand rn, 1tb version, still def a beast
I got the 256gb one for 463$ I can't wait for it to ship
I will never understand the hate for curved screens. I absolutely love it
its nice sometimes but stuff towards the edges can be finicky in my experience
Im still using my S23 ultra 🔥. No need to upgrade maybe in 2027-28 . Beast in performance good battery life And Os

The last curve screen 👍
My dad has the normal S23 and it has galaxy AI and is still fast so this would be good as well

Same here but s23 ultra will get one update on 2026 in android but I like s23 so I will go for S 23
Since my s10+ still work very well I will definitely say yes this phone is worth it
