Can i use the L in a network with the J and K cameras?

      Yep, I use a network of L, J and G.
The J, K and G cams just need to be on firmware 8.3 and the L on 1.2 or later.

It's annoying that the antennae is fixed in place. This will make it harder for me to mount it in tight places.

I agree. I’ve had to replace a couple already too - deer and critters like to play with them and they pop off. The Js would bend out if the way at least

Hello, would the Cuddelink L series work well as a security camera. Have you experimented with max distance to get a readable license plate on a car moving less than 20 MPH?

They do have a surveillance mode with records all activity as fast as possible but you may be limited by distance and clarity. Best image quality for animals are usually 10-20 feet from the camera so a moving car at 20mph would be difficult.
