  • This video breaks down the Amaran 60D and 60X for night portraits. Here I use LED lights for amazing portraits during the night. The question is, which one is better for night portraits? LED Lights or Speedlights? Big thanks to my friend Marco Jilpas for recording the BTS video footage and Adrian for assisting last minute.

@@EliInfante no Eli, I have not. I am beginning my journey, from a 20 year hiatus; i started years ago with film . 6 years ago I got Nikon D7200 that I have tooled around with inconsistently, I have a sigma art f1.8 18-35 (my only really good lens), reflectors, 1 umbrella , 1 flash that has to be triggered via camera flash, a bit limiting. I want to get a mirrorless but decided I should probably just use what I have and practice. However , a used mirrorless and new flashes/strobe is tempting. Rotolights look pretty awesome. Jason Lanier uses them and creates beautiful images with those. I am impressed with your work and those images you captured with these LEDS. Please share any equipment advice.
