I just found you and I've learned a lot already !!! ❤❤❤Thank for your wonderful content! I've been struggling with lighting and your explanations are so clear that I I'm sure that my work will go to the next level. Regards from Norway ❤
@@EliInfante To be honest you're doing great. From shooting models to editing photos. Perfect! I just want you to keep uploading your work, so that everyone can learn most out of it. Lot's of support and love ❤️
@@EliInfante I'm always on the lookout for cool t-shirts. A week ago I was a day late for a newly released limited edition t-shirt from www.johnkenntees.com. Not a plug, but do check out his tees.
Thanks Eli! You are a legend, great to see someone talking about the importance of height and angle of the key light, most people only say "key is 45 degrees from subject with 45 inclination" but they forget about the height of the light relative to the subject! Good job!!!
Very simple and clear! You explained key decisions for an aspiring portrait photographer. Regarding adjusting exposure: how about using the histogram rather than going by eyeballing the image on the camera?
Good day Eli, I'm a wedding photographer who's about to start doing some studio photography. I saw that you used the beauty dish which I'm looking into getting but is it the right thing to get, is it durable, and, any suggestions on what to get as a starter?
Great video Eli. Eli I would like to ask what flag would you recommend to start. Keep in mind that I would like to use in studio and also outdoor. Thank you Eli m.
Eli, please make more tutorials like this one, hopefully one with HSS/TTLs with one light...one question, I would’ve choose 1/4 would as I find it more flattering. Am I wrong to make this decision?
Thanks for you instructions specially on potrait setup... I would like to know in your experience using backdrop vinyl type, it will reflet the light? thanks.
It's probably a stupid question but when you put your settings so that it is totally dark, then how can you take a picture? Is there a flash that is giving light before you take the picture. Sorry but my English is not perfect so I hope that you know what I mean?

You're right. I almost never shoot portraits at less than f.5.6. Even f.4 or 4.5 run the risk of blurring parts of the subject. If I need a blurry background I can do that in post. Watch out for noise with under exposure..
Sir where is the link of the edit? Please help cant seem to find on the description. Thanks!

Yaaaaaaa sir
What is the fan your using to blow her hair in the session?

Where did you get a fans that can be put on a stand!?!? Great video love that backdrop for sure!!
You can buy it on amazon :) amzn.to/31FdSaj
Thank you!!!
During this are you looking thru the eye piece at the model since it is so dark or looking thru the live monitor
When using flash the camera will add exposure for you to focus.
Great video Eli. Eli I would like to ask what flag would you recommend to start. Keep in mind that I would like to use in studio and also outdoor. Thank you Eli m.
Westcott sells flags for the studio.

The mirrorless camera will add auto exposure in the preview for that reason Erik. Great question btw
Camera full frame or APS-C ? LENS FOCAL LENGTH?
Full frame Sony A73 with Zeiss 55mm.

Nice Video Brother
Appreciate it man! I love making content for you guys 😁
What size backdrop were you using? I found that a 5x3 ,although economical, is just not big enough. I think the one you are using is a perfect size.
12ft x 7ft
Wait....what fan were you using to blow the hair?
I found it on amazon

Yes sir great point!
Great video! Do you have a link for that justin clamp?
I don't sorry! I believe a bought it from Amazon a few years ago.
I don't see a link anywhere for the wind machine you guys used.
Its in the comments section I believe
Thanks for this Eli, what size was the backdrop?
Largest one they have on their website :)
@@EliInfante thank you

Sethi! Thanks for always tuning in bro 😎
🙏😍
Thank you!
What size is that backdrop
The largest available I believe.
get a light meter ! good video !
I have one but don’t use it 😁
Metering is faster and looks more professional to a client. I can usually guess about where I need to be on f stop, but I meter anyway.
Everyone has a preference for their process. Do whatever works best for you 😁
