Collection log slots...then we fight is the latest pvp series where rargh and linksocarina have to go head to head pking in old school runescape osrs ironman challenge where whoever gets the most collection log slots has the best chance to get good items.

I absolutely love how Rargh gives a speech about not wanting to waste time with certain things, and wants the weapon to help speed things up, but proceeds to spend 20 minutes doing agility with his run off the whole time 😂😂

not only this, but says that he would rather train stats with a chance of collection log - meanwhile you can train combat stats while going for a collection log and he has no chance on a log from rooftop agility

Yeah tbh the collection log slots should give more rolls on the randomizer to give more incentive to go for them
It's only a single roll and all of its just farming monsters so its only useful for leveling combat but quests usually do that way faster.
Idk how they’re not going for the Shayzien armour pieces. It’s 25 collection log slots!
They'll go for spins when they run out of big XP quests to go for. Right now it's just better to bang levels out for more DPS versus trying their luck on the randomiser.

Glad it's a good version. Collection log version is better than the normal ones. I always skip through on the normal ones because they're full of uneventful/slow stuff and the end is usually lackluster gear/batles. This series is excellent. I say this in a positive way, not a negative way :D To each their own.
Love the long-form pvps! They are always my favourite.
8:08 counterpoint: the odds of getting an upgrade to your adamant sword was tiny, there are so many bad weapons out there. It was a huge gamble
Also a rune 2h is actually a DOWNGRADE in dps compared to an addy sword

Watching currently and rargh just got rune scimmy. We told you!!! Lol. Talking 3 hours to get it.... ummmm we all looking at drop rates lol. We plan just like you but have different perspectives on eqch of your 2 styles.
Maybe?? A then we fight were each episodes plan is chosen by a random followers choices or plan. So you each take a different supporter into a discord call and they talk with you and you both develop a plan together. Next episode you each choose a new person to converse with.

7:05 Rargh.... weapon slot is just full of junk right now.. the likelihood of getting anything rune is nearly imposible with the insanely large pool of pointless weapons...literally any other slot would have been better, atleast fill up the slots you dont have anything for first! Even shield would have been way better since above iron is steel/black/addy/rune, so theres a ton of potential (though ofc necklace is best no contest)

Look into the new forestry update clogs as well as shazian armor clogs. You’d have so many rolls stocked up for something like a b ring or rune armor
I think only the forestry rewards (not random event items) go into collection log, so about as much grinding as other stuff. Shayzien armor would be sweet though!
I think the idea in people saying weapon was a bad choice in spinning is because the odds of you getting a viable weapon is greatly reduced- it's not just that you couldnt get dragon tier, but the odds of you getting granite are extremely small, and odds of getting rune were also quite small, because the pool is so much smaller hoping for granite is the equivalent of hoping for like rapier/fang on a normal randomizer. Odds were you'd get no better than Addy on a randomizer, meanwhile most accessory slots have unchanged odds for good gear
Also another factor- upgrades early on are rather small. Addy sword -> rune scimmy is hardly a better upgrade than Addy sword -> + glory, much less, you're good weapon pulls are basically rune sword, rune scimmy, Granite hammer, and I suppose granite maul or longsword as well. Any other rune pull is a lesser upgrade to just a glory, besides the mace which is nearly equivalent.
Not tryna rip into ya, just what people were getting at. Ultimately if you did pull one of those items it would've been an incredible buff this early so I see the logic. There's also the 4(?) Variety rune scimitars buffing your odds. On the other hand, link had reasonable odds getting the glory- a safer upgrade- but ended up getting a fury which was very lucky. Only like 3 options for a fury I think in the whole randomizer

Ik that it’s an established thing, but prayer flicking 1 prayer point for an entire fight feels so unintended and scummy. I wish neither was allowed to do it and actually have to think about managing it.

Also, could this be the season for slayer? Lots of collection log slots there as well - from random stuffed hands to bronze -> black boots, mystic pieces, mudskipper hat, etc..
I would have gambled and went for a cheeky play of making a combat and defence mix only 2 dose but that could be exactly how long the fight lasts and at lower levels 6 healing per dose for a total of 12 plus the buff means you basically have buffing fish pie/lobster healing which could make all the difference with the 18 total healing saved (due to combat mix healing 3 and not 6 per dose).

I get your bit about weapons, but two spins, one for rings and one for amulets would be sufficient to give you a solid boost.

in series like this where you play as ironmen but cant be ironmen, i think you should start with full iron armor since ironmen would get ironman armor thats the same stats
training prayer at the altar tip... set your screen to resizeable so hitting escape closes the invent. place the last bone in your invent over the altar. spam click and spam escape to rapidly use bones. youre welcome

Why could Link stop at 1 prayer during the fight if he was using melee protection ? It's not againts the rules ?
Pretty much an unspoken(sometimes) rule for them that they can't flick protection/overhead prayers. Other prayers are allowed to be used in that way though.
