He's my personal favorite Marvel Villain, he deserves more recognition than he has. And just to be clear, I loved this. Perfect music choice, great timing between each scene, and at the end when you mixed him clicking the detonator button and the final chord of the song, oh my god this is amazing.
I want to draw attention to the fact that in that shield room he and the strike team shot up, those few remaining agents on the floor managed to shoot their way out while outnumbered and outgeared by strike
Am I the only one who thinks this guy could be the next wolverine. Mcu, purge and warrior he showed really good fighting skills and the look is similar too.
Rumlow Fasicaintes me as a Character because I Always wonder why did he and Rollins Join HYDRA in the first place? He doesn't seem like Pure Evil Character like Pierce or Dreykov. He Seems seems like He didn't want to Joined HYDRA Because he believes in the Either of Hydra ways. He Seems more like Grant Ward from A.O.S, Like Pierce told him he can do something for him rather if's that bringing back his Parents from the Dead or maybe it was because his Father force him into Hydra just like Garrett did to Grant in A.O.S.
Since we don't really get any backstory or personal information about him from the movie, we can just try to piece it together from the comics. In the comics, Rumlow ran a criminal gang when he was younger, so he really wasn't a good person to start with. Then he joined the Taskmaster and finally the Red Skull. So in the comics he is very much an evil jackass. But since MCU is different from it, we can imagine Rumlow was a gang member in his young years, at some point became a mercenary and somehow got the attention of Pierce. We can assume he joined HYDRA because the idea of order and power appealed to him, and let's be honest, Pierce is very charismatic and knows how to sell his goals. If we want to assume Brock isn't purely an evil bastard who's just in for the power ride, it wouldn't be too far fetched to imagine that a young man who grew up in a violent neighbourhood and never achieved anything worthwhile would jump at the opportunity to belong to something much bigger than himself, where he could gain purpose and power and make something out of himself. In the CA: Civil War Prelude comic, he says: "I'm a soldier. I knew death was a possibility when I signed up. It ain't exactly a secret. And I'm okay with dyin' for a cause I believe in." So he genuinely believed in HYDRA's cause to the point of being willing to die for it. In the MCU, Pierce presents HYDRA's goal as the ultimate world order basically, tries to convince the council it's for the good of the world, and that's probably what most HYDRA agents have been fed, that's why there is so many of them. Because HYDRA masquerade themselves as these means-to-an-end world saviours. Also, at one point someone asked Frank Grillo what Rumlow was thinking during the scene where they are brainwashing Bucky, and he said that he was wondering if he was really on the right side. So when he saw how far HYDRA was actually willing to go to achieve their goal - that is brainwashing an innocent man and about to basically commit a genocide, he may have started having doubts, but was already in too deep. And by the time Civil War rolls around, he's completely abandoned HYDRA's ideology and just runs on sheer spite and anger after everything fell apart. That's how I see it, anyway.
@@PrettiestCaptain I really am not that knowledgable about this but I think it's a lot simpler than that. He's a simple combat guy. He likes to fight for a goal. Hydra gave him the excuse/a goal to fight for. When that was gone he had to find something else but since he's not much of a thinker it became mercenary work and spite. It's also why, despite his "rivalry", he was so friendly towards cap. They are much alike. He might've been on the other side of the trench but they were both soldiers fighting for a better world. And then cap "betrayed" their "bond" At least that's my take on it
That’s the only one video about Brock in the world that deserves attention. This is so about him and beautiful and i cant... perfect

Brock Rumlow is love for life. Thanks for these lovely two and a half minutes.
Crossbones deserve his own MCU Show and allow Frank Grillo To reprise the role.
Brock Rumlow/Crossbones is one of my favorite Marvel villains
When I first saw him in winter soldier I wanted his haircut ever since. Now I’m working on a full cosplay of him in both movies
While I’m not a big cosplay kinda guy i would wear his gear from civil war that’s a badass look

Frank Grillo was not wasted in the MCU, still it would have been nice to see him in the future but Im glad he went out in a Bang.
