It’s called Raba T1. It’s a spring loaded lever espresso machine. No updates on release date yet. But the tamper will launched early next month 😊
@@subcoffee8 Thank you very much for the info! I should be reviewing that tamper next month.
That espresso machine 3bomber makes it, they had it at a pop up show a while back and just keep teasing it. I hope they actually release it.
@@greysuit17 I’m sure they have some strategy here. Hopefully it will work nicely.
It is the rabat T1, they are showing it in coffee festival. In ourcoffeeshelter tour of buse coffee show, you can see it quite early in the video
@@SomeRandomBarista thank you!
@@SomeRandomBarista Thanks for the info. Just checked out the video, really wish they’d drop info on it. Im interested the machine for sure.
Hello Jack! Great as always!
@@7Miralas thx for watching!
I have the cyclone and it's great! A lot easier than messing around with a WDT tool.
@@FatNorthernBigot agree, very nice design.
Great review as always 👌🏻 what are your thoughts in comparison between DEX and BEP2 basket from them? I remember you liked BEP2 better than WAFO
@@ShervinMashreghimoghadda-wh1zr thx for watching! DEX is a solid regular basket, something similar to VST but cheaper. BEP would be my choice right now but I have to put them to the proper test. First I might be reviewing 8 new baskets from Kafmasino.
Will you test the DiFluid Scale TI ?
@@JPC326 not sure if they would send me one.
the last couple of months i mostly use MHW's "blind shaker" for distribution, and a little "standard" needles WDT to spread the grinds to the "outer circle" in the basket which the shaker creates. i really hope they're reading the comments on your videos, maybe they'll come out with a "blind shaker2.0" to sit nicely on the portafilter, just like this nice magnetic funnel. tamping wise, i'm "team Normcore"..btw, have you reviewed the DEX basket? i've been using it for months (20g) and it's favorite basket
@@anonylesss DEX is ok for the price, kinda like all other regular baskets like VST, just cheaper. With light roast coffee, Wafo offers much more in terms of details and fruitiness.
Not sure if magnetic shaker would work that much better but it is definitely an interesting concept.
@@mycoffeeshow111 sorry, i meant that the shaker would sit on top of the portafilter instead of inside - just like Weber's
@@anonylesss Let’s hope they read comments here but I know they are very active on Instagram so you can also contact them there with your suggestions.
Great video I just wish mhw didn’t hate us breville users 😂
@@Howie-bz5pe thx for watching. I am sure one day they will make something for you as well.
So then. since buying the WDT tool, MHW-3Bomber have refunded my money and i'm still talking to the to get a decent result. Do you have an 18g VST basket you could try with it as they are saying the basket doesn't have flat enough sides(which i find odd as its a very common basket). Also Lance Hedrick was showing these levellers and stated they only tidy the top and have no benefit to the actual puck lower levels. Im definitely going to get the dosing ring but undecided on either the force tamper of or the decent tamper
@@spindly_killer_fish remind me please what the issue is? I heard from MHW that they will supply longer needles to help with more even distribution. I am very happy with it as it is. I will be testing their new tamper soon but I can’t say anything about it until 5th of August. If it works as good as it looks like, it might be a serious competition for my Force Tamper.
@@mycoffeeshow111 So the issue is dishing out the centre regardless of how little pressure, also as the needles don't go near the centre, the grounds are not stirred. At maximum depth, its about 1-2 mm from the bottom of the basket. Did you not get the Decent tamper with your machine? its very highly regarded.
@@spindly_killer_fish maybe those new needles will help then. I never bought Decent tamper. Have been using Normcore until I got Force Tamper few months ago.
@@spindly_killer_fish i can't adjust the needles all way down i tried 18vst and pulmman19 also iims
I’ve been using the EDO Twister for puck prep, de-clumps and distributes as it rises through the puck - expensive but much more repeatable than WDT
