Beyonce has had some good songs but doesn't come anywhere close to the voice and talent that Dame Shirley Bassey possesses, Shirley's performance in this video at the Royal Albert Hall 1974 is far more better than one of beyonce's elaborate provocative performances.

When I saw the movie in The 60's, she was the reason the popcorn tasted so good. And the danger, the drama, the romance, the intrigue, and that golden touch. She owns this song. Her golden fingers are all over it

The song was in a very low key so it was much easier to sing , virtually talking in many parts....but she was very good still at her age,

I just saw Goldfinger in a classic movie palace today. When the Goldfinger theme came on through the extraordinary sound system with Shirley Bassey singing, it gave me chills, because it felt like Shirley was singing in the theater. It is the greatest theme song ever! 👍👍👍👍👍
This woman is a truly great singer. Can you think of anyone who could put on a live performance today of this quality, without electronic help, dancers to distract, huge noisy back up band etc. Right, there is no-one today who could even approach Bassey's level.

If Dame Shirley Bassey had only recorded "Goldfinger", "Diamonds Are Forever" & "Moonraker", she would still be a superstar. Because, there is nobody who compares or can compete with her amazing voice.
This is outstanding, has nice imagery, powerful , masterful , she was/is a one off, a product of her time, not to be repeated and quite happy to be eccentric and different here. Later performances lacked this edgy performance where she is really enjoying herself and totally effortlessly in absolute control.
Yea she's doesn't always do mushrooms, but when she does, she sings Goldfinger.
