This women's handbag brand reached out to me at the end of May last year. For the last 3 years, they'd been paying a freelancer less than $1000 per month to do their SEO.
Here's what they got for that low cost:
100s of backlinks per month, mostly Fiverr + PBN links. It's truly a wonder that they weren't penalized during this period.
3-5 low-quality blog posts each month that lacked any clear strategy. In fact, none of the blogs written in the previous 3 years ranked on page 1…
ZERO organic revenue growth
ZERO organic traffic increase
Our Solution
1. Technical Fixes
2. On-Page Optimization
3. Building Topical Authority
4. Link Building
After 9 months of working with us, their organic MRR is now $74k+.

Nice one, Kai! I'm not going to lie, but this is very similar to how I have worked on SEO for the last couple of years; I just had less emphasis on links as I usually worked in relatively easier niches here in NZ. I also found outstanding success! Still had argued with my old boss about why I wanted to focus so much on collection pages and why keyword mapping was such a huge emphasis on my processes :) Now, I'm in the process of working on my things as well. Glad to see someone else getting success with similar processes! Good luck!
Thanks! I used to work with local businesses in NZ as well, way back when I first started SEO. I had to argue with my first boss about backlinks too, seems like a never ending debate unfortunately.
Can you please make a video about advanced schema for Shopify and WordPress as well - thanks
Very helpful video. Also, what schema you use for collection pages? I've heard collection pages don't need a schema.
And do you put ads on blog posts?
Carousel (itemlist) & FAQ usually, plus breadcrumbs. And no, we never use ads on blog posts for eCom brands, though we do include product images & CTAs for our own products on middle of funnel content when relevant.
@@searchkaicromwell That clears a lot, thanks.
And do you think google has anything against AI created images for e-comm sites? I wanna sell instrumentals for singers and I'll create AI images with Canva for every beat - in anime style or something similar (art style images, not photos).
@@lukemounthill699 Nah, you're good to use AI images. Google sucks at 'reading' images anyways, plus I'd say unique AI images are better than stock anyways.
@@searchkaicromwell that's good news thank you for your help
Can you share your KW research method??
