I didn’t get the small tube of grease either. I think that they could’ve included a few extra mounting bolts for the cost of this thing. I think you’re going to want to use grease instead of WD-40 on those nylon washers to make the lubricant last longer.
In general, I think this is made well. However, the handle definitely could be easier to reach from a typical zero turn that would be a small thing for them to change that would make a big difference to the user.
Look at GrassFlap, direct bolts to the deck no drilling on Exmark. Has a foot pedal and works on your floating foot deck. Completely clears edge of deck to fit through tight openings.

Thanks for the good review!! So, i have the Exmark 42in Quest. I noticed my plate goes at a slant and not completely flushed to the lawnmower deck. What are your thoughts? Maybe this is how it’s set up?
Mine didn’t fit flush either. I’ve actually taken it off and I’m just running the regular deflector that comes with the mower. Sometimes simple is the best way to go.

I have a 72" Exmark Lazer z X series. It has the same floating platform as yours. I bought the Exmark discharge blocker. Exmark make a $75 foot control for their blocker specifically for the floating platform. However after the intial $600 investment, then replacing 2 rubber flaps and 2 cables that run from the foot control pedal to the flap.....I removed every piece of the system. i HATE it. A company like Exmark should be ashamed of such a junky crap item as that. I now own the advanced chute system. MUCH more pleased.
