Alison Moyet, who made her name as the vocalist for Vince Clarke and Yaz or Yazoo, has returned to her electronica roots for The Minutes with collaborator Guy Sigsworth while still putting forth a band effort.

Such an amazing artist! Her last few solo albums are her best work yet especially the last two - The Minutes and Others.
She is so underrated! She is admirable that she rather release QUALITY then caring about being on the charts! Her voice is amazing and her songs are amazing!

Moyet was into jazz before YZ so she wrote yazoo on the car window when they asked about a bandname. But because of a pending Lawsuit in the US they shortened it to Yaz in the States. So this most be an American interview
