    Thank you for posting so much useful, unfiltered training content. I went to Gary Semics school four times. These videos feel the same as the training he provided. In a sport like this, that is as dangerous as it is. The most important part NEEDS to be shared. Technique is so important on a machine that is built to be ridden a certain way. So thanks for all the free advice. I still need it, I'm sure many others do and my kids need it. Plus I love seeing the look on their face when they hear you telling other riders a lot of the same stuff I tell them. Haha

    Hey AJ, I know you don't intend to do this, but often your comments as constructive and correct as they are, are worded in a way that I think takes away from their confidence... When you logically explain to a kid that that was the worst possible outcome and therefore he should be confident going forward. He heard, that sucked, you suck right now, lets try again. So if they mess up start with stoking them out i.e. "that was great!, and did you see how you didnt land quite perfectly? When you get it smooth its even easier" rather than "dont take offense but it couldnt get any worse than that, and let that give you confidence". I teach alot of the little bastards but not MX... You rock at this man, we love the content.

    Alright built a track over the weekend. Made myself a rythym section that was pretty scary. I have only rode 1 track 1 time so my experience is very limited on how to judge hitting something big for first time. I watched most your videos last night. Somehow got the confidence I needed and rolled by it twice and than sent it. Big double out of corner, to double, tabletop, double out. Did it about 30 times tonight and feeling good about the section. Thanks Aj for the helpful vids.

    I know this isn’t really related but I kinda want a more knowledgeable opinion, I’m a short dude like Alex martins height and I’m on a 125sx and there are some times I wish I was on an 85 just because there are certain situations where I would like to reach the ground a little better, and if I tip the bike over it’s easier to restart the bike and get going on off camber terrain. I’m 16 so I feel maybe a little old for an 85. Is it something I should just deal with or switch.

    • @AjCatanzaro
      @AjCatanzaro  4 года назад

      If you’re 16 and about 5 4 or so, you should be totally fine on a 125. Being a bit shorter on a bike you just need to expect that you if you crash the bike will be harder to pick up and get onto in certain situations.
