去咗加拿大幾年，如果話冇困難係冇可能，始終係離開咗一個自己活咗幾十年嘅地方，所以我家都努力中。最重要搵到令你地覺得快樂嘅生活模式，趁暫時未考慮要小朋友，事情更加容易處理。

兩位如果能夠的話，當然留在新加坡係最好的選擇啦！起馬衣食住行方便，社會安定！雖然物價各樣消費好高！現在全球都係物價上漲，到處楊梅一樣花！為了自己的前途與下一代都係留在新加坡比香港耒得好，而且這裏的政府對人民照顧周到生BB的配套又多！為了下一代應該要考慮一下！相信新加坡會比香港耒得好囉！👍
利申：喺新加坡住過3年
當時去到新環境探索喺爽嘅，好綠化，好先進，好乾淨，周圍都好整齊同靚，人又守規矩，但住落我覺得生活好悶，區區都一樣，富人區同市中心嘅除外。
外表做得非常得體嘅各種建設，實在其實價值觀同香港差唔多，政府非常優待海外嘅專才，你睇佢分Work Permit, SP, EP就理解，佢地好歡迎你只要你搵到錢，否則...
如果考慮喺新加坡下一代，除非認同華人嘅教育方法，否則都喺一出世都喺鬥學幾得多，小朋友比喺香港更大壓力，因為好學校、大學選擇少，所以都喺爭。
如果唔喺搵到錢嘅專才，感覺好難長遠發展
我们情况跟你们差不多。但是我们解决办法就是，
1.换工作，可以继续申请ep(pending)
2.和屋主做朋友，屋主后来续签就没有加租
3.申请pr(我们来一年的时候提交申请了)
4.太太找了wp的工作(现在quit了，专心备孕)

到哪裡生活工作都是不容易，主要是心態和意志， 我們要去適應環境，不是環境適應你。
1. EP 續簽不會等候太久， 跟HR溝通一下，讓HR知道你們的租約問題
2. 收集各方面的資訊，最後還是你們自己要決定哪裡適合你們。看你們的談話中，好像會繼續留在新加坡
3. 如果EP續簽成功後，又願意繼續留下來，就趕緊申請PR
4. 住宿在找稍微遠一點
5.Ruby可以找工作，不過必須轉換成工作證

好似話近年來門檻比以前高好多亦要看你公司規模等相比10年前可任你行，都係要多得香港的完善制度等啦？
EP 轉 PR容易嗎？聽講唔容易。
EP是專業人士的工作證，PR是永久居留。EP不能隨便轉換工作，PR等於本地人員，可以轉換工作和享有本地的一些福利。一般而言，EP是比較容易申請和拿到PR的，但是申請的人多，發放的PR少，就顯得有點難度。如果EP有家屬和帶上孩子（越多越好）那成功的機率就相對高些。@@davezhang8866
欢迎像你们这样的年轻人留下来。屋租贵，可以找离市区较远的组屋。新加坡交通便利，交通不是问题。Ruby可以找工作，服务行业需要大量员工，也许能为Ruby申请工作准证.
My wife, before she met me in Canada, worked in Singapore for two years. Finally, she decided to immigrate to Canada. Right now, she is a RN, very satisfied with her situation. We are from Mainland China.

其实你地可以先申请PR，拿到了PR之后再慢慢想，我之前都是申请PR先，后因认识我老婆，后来还有了BB就不用想，留下来！

香港大部份幼、小、中學生都係講普通話，在街上聽到大部份都係講普通話，好似返咗大陸咁

其实住哪里都无所谓，适合自己的才是最好的。最好落生根去了哪里就是哪国人，也不用说宁愿生活在外国。因为没有太大必要，移民了就要放重心在如何融入当地

Good luck to you both. One more thing I like about Singapore is the variety of food. the Malay, Nonya and the Indian. I agree there’s nothing much to do in Singapore, but think about food, all the locals love to travel for good food. That’s how they spend during their free time 😊

3k SGD for rent is quite high, your salary must be quite high to afford that and feed 2 people at the same time. I've been working here for about 8 years now and haven't been rejected for work pass renewal before so that should be fine. and finally i''ve gotten the PR approval last month, keep working over here 😊 HK is a living hell now if you know what I mean

Think carefully where both of you want to settled down. If you intend to use SG PR as a stepping stone to migrate to western countries, then better not apply for PR. That is what youtuber Steve is doing, he gotten SG PR, now want to leave SG & try his luck in some western countries. Perhaps to foreigners it seems nothing wrong but he is inconsiderate as he taken the PR chance away from someone who sincerely wants to stay put here

I reckon your EP would be renewed without any issues as the SG government really wants your contribution towards income tax and GST as well as the local economy. Lease takeover (instead of starting a new lease) is something you could consider if you are not sure about the future that would help to save a lot of hassle!

生活随心隨意有能力去澳洲，我阿姨定居那護士長，它国喜欢老师警察，工程师比较容易你俩可参考。😊
其實pr好微機會六個月出結果除非你係到讀過書，所以基本上你會先知道你EP續唔續到，都未會知道PR批唔批😂

@@bella8303 因为解釋不出。新加坡不敢讲事实。近十几年，新加坡人精神病很严重，精神病凶杀案很骇人。政府报道最严重是年轻人，连小学生也很多，我看到新闻。一55岁妇女没吃药，半夜200刀，砍死自己80岁老母，口里念着一命还一命，18岁女儿拒开房门，躲过一劫。一15岁精神分裂本地印度学生在吃药，一刀刺喉母亲推入床底，叔叔发现不妙...。

It's quite a sophisticated case of his ... I do agree that if he eventually decides to reside somewhere else, a PR quota is sort of squandered for some other people who want to treat Singapore as their only new home. But from the point of rule of law we also have to respect his rights to explore and decide so, especially given the reasonable differential treatment between PRcitizen and the presence of controlling means (re-entry permit) in the existing system. Same applies to actually every PR.

DP holders can get an Employment Pass ( EP ), S Pass or Work Permit if they wish to work in Singapore. The prospective employer must submit an application on their behalf, and the relevant qualifying salaries, quotas and levies of the respective work passes will apply.

慘情，看到你們這樣。回想97年前，友人理工畢業，取得學位，工作2年後，到新加坡領使館申請移民，據說一位工作人員在櫃位跟他只說了兩句，就立即批准移民申請，即時拿了PR，當然，最後友人沒去，現在在港發咗達。
唔知你咩立場或者咩原因 選擇離開香港發展 但我相信離開咗香港嘅朋友 好大部分真心都覺得香港係好啲
無性別歧視 冇種族歧視 冇宗教歧視 犯罪指數低 低稅率 醫療服務好 有公,居屋供應 交通設施完善等等 希望你地可以返嚟好好發展

加上明日大嶼和北部都會區計劃，未來10至15年，可以全面解決居住問題，包括劏房戶問題！
提醒一下，就算你小朋友係新加坡出世，你攞到pr,小朋友唔會自動變成pr,要再為佢申請先得，好多case小朋友都攞唔到pr要一直做外國人，最影響係讀小學唔保證一定派位比你……

Thx for sharing. Several weeks ago, I visited my sister who's now residing in Singapore. Having not been there for many years, I find that this country is very down to earth, and always devises measures that are people centric. Before this trip, I spent almost a month in Canada. Comparatively, I think the living cost in Singapore is not low. For instance, when you eat out in a proper restaurant, it could be pretty expensive (more so than that in Canada even after GST and service charge are included). However, I can still find good food in hawker centres at affordable prices. Yes, rents have soared very much these days and it's wise to live in other areas for more space. I also agree that the summer days in Singapore are not as hot as one thinks.
I hope that you'll get your EP (hence DP) extended successfully. If you are granted the PR status, you may think about settling down with your baby plan la 😊
Fair observations indeed! The presence of hawker centres is really key to day-to-day living in Singapore lol without it I can't imagine how high the cost of food would be
