PLEASE DON'T MAKE THE MISTAKE OF THINKING THERE ARE ONLY 10 MATH QUESTIONS AND DON'T USE THAT AS THE PRIME STUDY MATERIAL. USE IT AS A GUIDE OF WHAT TO EXPECT.
Advantage Learn is a another good resource but it isn’t free and isn’t cheap either. It looks like they produce results so it could be a good investment in yourself

@@reitumetsemanamolela2270 To be honest, I'm a bit nervous as well. I divided my NBT prep work into segments that I can do daily - so that helps with easing off the nerves. Just believe in yourself, YOU GOT THIS!

S_ C keep the nbt at the back of your mind but your focus should be your grades in school. Usually the end year marks are lower than the marks you’ll get the whole year so keep pushing

Yea but it’s really not too bad. You have RUclips, use it to your advantage. I used RUclips like I had no teacher because the resources available here were sometimes better.

Hi I'm preparing for NBTS and im using olico is it just me or is the maths questions on olico super hard?
I usually get high 90s for Maths but its as if the maths is on a diffrent level.Im really trying my best but sometimes i dont even understand what they are asking.
Hey Shania. I wrote the nbt 3 years ago and can’t remember the questions but yes if I remember correctly the questions on Olico are hard. Do study the stuff you’re doing in class too. I hope other people see your comment and help you out. Maybe go write your first time and get a feel for it. You can write multiple times.

Hey. What's the total time duration for the NBT?
Bontle Tladi if I remember correctly it’s 3 hours per test. So if you write the math paper as well total is 6 hours. Pack food whether you’re doing both or even just the one you’ll be hungry after✨

Aatizzles K well because I don’t like feeling rushed because it gives me anxiety I would say a month before you write and in this month I don’t mean hardcore studying everyday maybe 5 questions per day to get you in the groove then closer to the time put in more time and effort
Will the MAT be tricky if I'm doing mathematical literacy?
I don’t think you can write the MAT if you do maths lit. Check on their website if it’s possible. It was tricky for me and I did maths
Will the NBT results help you to get into other universities other than UCT?
They help you get into all universities. The results get distributed to all universities before you even receive them
Do you have to give NBT even if you’ve to go in medical field?
I assume so. I can't think of any reason why it would be an exception so maybe write it in case
