@@shadowx2750 I agree with you that people should take the regular matchmaking seriously, but if you really want a "true" competitive experience I'd check out FaceIt, you will have way more consistent games/teammates

Smells like autopilot play.

Movement in CSGO is such a subtle art that it's hard to explain or teach, I think this video does it about as good as possible. Also agreed with the guy below who said people play this game on autopilot and don't think of the areas of the map they are in danger from. Double agreed with the guy who said to play some yprac prefire, that shit shows you just how many angles you can die from, and forces your brain to slow down and process angles better.
4:45 onwards: Gotta love how Voo explains how to "win" a lost round. Too often I see people (including me) being in a similar situation and having this brainfart of a hero play trying to win a clutch like this.
@voo CSGO I looked at ur profile and u have over 1.1k comments on your channel only. I honestly rarely see any content creator spending his time by reading random comments on the internet. Big respect for you my man. )
Hey voo, love the vids thank you for all the help. May I suggest that you hop into first person and do the action they did wrong, the correct way as an example. For me it’s hard to follow sometimes and seeing it in 1st person would help out. Maybe in this vid for example you could show how you clear the angles in bathrooms and what order. or show the bomb site routes that you take. It would show us the correct way to do the thing that they did wrong, thank you and have a nice day!
this was my problem. Still is on some maps but was particularly strong on inferno. Bit of yprac prefire later and I feel a lot more confident in my movement
1:32 Sometimes my girlfriend also has to hard clear bathroom after i planted a bomb. I stay defensive and play time, because she never faked it and her movement in that spot is Global Elite. Btw i pay for the spot and the kit as will, so i guess gg..
yeah you've got a point. if the goal is for him to flash for his teammate to peek that flash actually does get something done (though it should land differently because one of the most dangerous angles - beside dice - doesn't really look like it gets blind by that). There are definitely better ways to use that utility if the plan is to push in with it though imo
Considering the situation it's sort of a bad flash, it gives away the Terrorist positions on the map and allows defending the bomb easier for the CTs. I think a more effective play is doing exactly what him and his teammate done but without making any sound at all. It's already a 2v4, if there's still a guy A site then the round was almost lost anyway, but the element of surprise of having two terrorists come from CT spawn is quite powerful in this 2v4.
6:04 gotta say I play there sometimes, simply because nobody looks there lmao. I only play it if I know theres people at B and wont hold it for long, but can sometimes catch a lurker with that "angle"
It would be great to replicate the mistake made by the guy we are watching but the right way. Like clearing mid/bathrooms idk exact names of the places im new to the game. (keep up the great work tho it was very helpful)
Exactly im not even sure how your supposed to clear it now im tryin to tbink of it and every way to go through there requires utility on an angle other than that every other way for me to imagine clearing and pushing that requires deepening multiple angles
For a N3 player I think he's decent. I have seen even MGE/DMG players play like a bot compared to LOL. The way he jumps down connector to perfection. Had he approached it fast and aggressive by bouncing the flash on the wall, that was a free kill for him. Most nova/mg players doesn't have the guts, to take the first movement into the sites nor the angles to clear them and then be pressured by the time of the slow approach. Yes, he didn't take the correct pathing everytime, but I respect that he ALWAYS tries to create space for his teammates and search for openers. Even I as a GE in MM can't master the ladder techniques in Ovp/Train, which is mine aspect of the game I need to work on. So in short, as a N3 player, I think he does it very well and soon enough he will be ranking up, when catching his mistakes and fixing them.
Jesus christ i'm litterally sem and i know how to press d to clear an angle then press q to counter strafe, you tell me that's fucking dmg ? What kind of a world are we living in ? In my experience novas are confident enough to get into sites and take on certain jobs (utility, angles). Weirdly in MG games people tend to hide until flushed out or time runs out.
I'm doing all this stuff. I am aware at every moment what angle I can get shot from and I'm clearing them well. My movement and positioning are good but my aim sometimes holds me back. Also I NEVER buy grenades or even use them if I pick them up. I guess that's why I'm still mg. Everyone says that utility is very important in this game.
voo could you make a guide to solo q without baiting? Most of my matches end up being bad teammates where the only T rounds I win are when I bait my teammates and end in a 1vX situation? is there a better way I can support teammates, I try not to be toxic, flash, call plays, etc. but it usually doesn't help.
