Much like Godzilla himself, this theme can mean Death, Ruin, and Destruction...but under a different circumstance it can also mean Hope, Determination, and Strength. He can be a monster who brings destruction upon us or the hero who will never let evil take his planet.
Godzilla was a hero, Gojira wasn't. Just a small reminder that Gojira gave kids radiation poisoning, destroyed almost a whole village and gave us one of the most depressing movies of all eternity.
Shin Godzilla's theme: A dramatic opera like singing with deep dark lyrics about what he is and what he's feeling Legendary Godzilla's theme: A rock like theme with the lyrics telling how fearsome and powerful he is Original Gojira's theme: No lyrics needed. You can tell how scary he is just from his theme.
I feel like Shin godzillas story is sadder than anything,he’s just trying to survive,he’s not a villain, neither a hero,he doesn’t face anyone here, except the military, that’s the problem,he’s doing this to survive,he protected himself from the military,he’s the victim here, not the people of Japan, that’s what makes it sad.
