Lamborghini: Golf Maserati: Fiat 500 Bentley: Golf Bugatti: Golf Dodge: Fiat 500 Alfa Romeo: Fiat 500 Porsche 911: Beetle so still a VW Everything from Japan: Toyota
Funfact : The Austin Maestro (a shitcar that was more horrible to drive than a Morris Marina, which is not easy to archive considering how terrible that car was), that was built from 1982 to 1994 had an Volkswagen Golf II transmission, and that transmission was the only good part of the car.
You're wrong there. The only Maestros to have a VW gearbox were 1983-85. It was then replaced with an Austin Rover own one which was much better. The original VW one was widely panned as the worst part of the car. Secondly, the claim they were rubbish. You could do with some research to go with your factual inaccuracies.

My father had one, there was nothing wrong with it.
The Aston Martin Cygnet is just a Toyota iQ underneath
And cost 3x as much as the iQ. They've become quite the collector's car considering how rare they are.
And overneath
Actually the Skoda Superb is a Passat underneath...
VW gave the task to develop the next VW Passat to Skoda.
which is just a long golf
@@de_oScar yes, today. Before it was different platforms but now they're the same with just varying lengths
See that's why old cars are better. Everything nowadays is all the same
I'm early! Woohoo!

There was also a period of time where everything was a Lotus Elise.
