One of those Miatas could be what I'm driving now. I just witnessed the labor and delivery! I love how the Japanese work. They are truly dedicated to their jobs, not sloppy and lazy unlike others. And that is why Japanese made and assembled products have quality and durability you can count on. Watching them work, how they assembled my car makes me loving my Mazda even more!

Honestly I don't think it's possible for any global automaker to be sloppy or lazy nowadays! Quality standards are too high, consumer demand and stockholder pressures are too great, and big portions of the process are automated by robots anyways! With that being said, as a Mazda owner (2020 CX-9), I appreciate the company's holistic attitude towards their products, Mazda is my favorite of all the Japanese automakers.

31:30 absolutely hilarious to see an MX5 followed by a Bongo, which is nearly identical to its 4th gen introduction in 1999, on the same line.
Mazdas are pretty exceptional vehicles. I've owned a few now and they've been Toyota reliable with more smiles per gallon than anything else in its price range. My 2014 Mazda3 has been almost flawless to date and will probably see 300,000 km without an issue. My 2001 NB2 Miata is such an absolute blast to drive.
If Mazda could improve their corrosion resistance even further (with a more thorough hot-dip galvanization process) and use a harder & thicker paint similar to the germans, it would be a no-contest game (they're already pretty decent now in that field). Mazdas are reliable, very well engineered ergonomic products designed with the driver in focus.

You can see Mazda factory machines are all worn and very used as opposed to Toyota or Nissan. Mazda made a brave move to disengage with Ford and the city of Hiroshima paid for 60% of the capital to Mazda for this divorce. Needless to say, citizens of Hiroshima are all share holders of Mazda! I like my wife cx30 and I wish well for Mazda!

I was thinking who do I talk to if I have an idea to share to the world in the auto industry?
I love what Mazda is doing by sticking to their ‘roots’. Now that automotive these days are bringing comfortability forward- I’d like to add to existence a “Driver seat adjustment preset button.”
Imagine going through service or having someone else like a family or friend or even in emergencies your seat has to be re-adjusted? I find it a hassle because the time and little adjustments we make for our driving experience is like a binary code we put in our ride that if changed ever so slightly- just doesn’t feel right. That is why I think a Driver preset would be a useful commodity in the automotive industry.
    -Thank you.

When I was a young child, made in Japan meant junk. The Japanese have managed to turn that phrase 180 degrees since. It now means high quality and longevity. I so admire these people.

Since Mazda is the underdog of the Japanese car world, they have to be bolder like with the RX7, Miata, etc. Works for me.

Very interesting and nice video :) Have owned two Mazdas, first one was a 1982 323 Hatchback (GLC in US). According to Wikipedia, probably built in Hiroshima plant. After that got a 1990 323 sedan (Protege in US) and I guess that was built in Hofu plant.
Of course, the factories most likely have looked completely different at the time, as the production lines probably must've rebuilt for modern manufacturing technology seen in this video.
