Да все верно. У каждой марки имплантата есть определенное количество лет до истечения срока его действия, и его необходимо заменить или начать использовать другой метод.
Hi Enny -we couldn’t find any information as to why contraceptive implants are inserted under the skin on the arm - but it makes practical sense, don’t you think? It’s easy to access the arm and easy for the patient to keep an eye on.
Hi Annie.. the provider uses a local anesthetic to numb the area before removing the implant so that should make the procedure painless for the most part.
If your implant has broken, you should see a health care provider. They can remove it and put a new one in your arm, if you want to continue. The implant is made of a flexible sturdy plastic and it’s placed under a layer of tissue which cushions it from impacts so they are difficult to break. It can happen but it’s rare. Even more rare is the implant moving from it’s position. consultqd.clevelandclinic.org/migration-of-implantable-birth-control-devices-a-rare-but-potentially-serious-problem/

Thanks for the video. Wanted to know why you didn't suture the incision.
The incision is so small that stitches are not needed; it can be simply closed with an adhesive bandage.

Этот стержень для того чтобы не было нежелательной беременности, но его периодически нужно менять, я так понимаю...

Why is it only implanted on the arm under the skin? Anywhere else where it can be implanted? Whats the significance

Is there any stitch also done
No need for stitches. just a small adhesive tape to close the tiny wound
