Ms. Aleli did well in promoting the filipino agricultural products thru Jessica the perfect fit who is Korean but filipino in heart now because of her childhood upbringing. If Ms. Aleli have not been a fan or viewer of Jessica probably this would not have happen in promoting goodwill to Korea.

This food expo is an annual event in Korea to promote products from trading partners of Korea including the Philippines. And having Ms Jessica Lee who happened to be there and featured in her YT channel our export products and the event, will surely create awareness to Koreans and Filipinos in South Korea to support the products and will definitely expand the reach. So, kudos both to Ms. Jessica and Ms. Aleli.

Jessica I'll recommend to you to eat boiled Saba Banana or Cooked in a Charcoal.
It will be very nice and tasty specially the grilled in charcoal.
NOTE: If you boil the Saba in the water, do not remove the skin of the Bananas. Boil it in water until it cooks. After cooking remove the bananas one by one from the hot water and put it on a dry bowl or a tray. Let it cool for a few minutes, and after that it's now ready to eat. That's the time you need to feel off the skin of the Banana to eat.
Cooking in Charcoal, do not remove the skin of the Saba also. First you need to prepare the Charcoal in the grill stand. Heat
the Charcoal with fire until it gets hot, As you can see the black charcoal turn its color into a fully Red Flame Color. Then place the Saba
on the grill stand cover it fully with hot charcoal wait for a few minutes, If you think that it's already cooked the top side of the Saba. Then you turn the underside of the Saba which is not fully cooked facing up and put it back the hot charcoal on top of the Saba covering fully the whole Saba with hot charcoal. After a few minutes and if you think that it's fully cooked that's the time you removed the Saba out of the Charcoal and keep it cool in a Bowl or A tray for a few minutes and you can now feel off the skin of the Saba to eat.
You will enjoy the taste of it. Fully ripe Saba is very good to grill under the Charcoal because it will be sweet when it cooks.
I hope you will try what I told you, and I'm sure you will like it very much.

Davao being the fruit capital of the Philippines, the produce there is definitely the best. The tip about smelling the "twig" part of the mango is true and the best way to check for its sweetness.
From my experience, the more fragrant it is, the sweeter, also the skin of of the fruit shouldn't be very smooth/ tight, it's a good way to tell if it has ripened properly. Mangoes that have been picked early and didn't ripened well (very tight skin/peel) has a tendency to smell sweet but would have a degree of sourness to its flavor meanwhile the best ones just have purely sweet taste.
For the bananas, the green ones(unripe) are great for making banana chips while the yellow ones(ripe) are best for desserts like halo halo, turon, banana q, fried bananas, banana cake, and many more. or you can just eat it raw.

It seem that you could not import to Korea SABA as is due to fumigation is needed for agriculture produce before being exported and not in commercial quantity . You can boil it and then melt some brown sugar or raw sugar in a pot and put in the cooked SABA viola you got minatamis or dessert with crush ice. Or mix it cutting it into cubes with sago, ube, letse plan, mongo beans if you want and others you got halo halo. Regarding Philippine papaya it is very sweet when ripe and as a tinola ingredient when not yet ripe. Unlike the Thai or latin American type either there is a taste like anise or something I forgot and have no taste of sweetness so a squeeze of calamsi and a some sugar on it is needed. Okra is good for your lungs if it got some wound as it will heal the lungs and visible scar can be seen in the xray according to medical expert.

Jessica, there are ways of cooking Saba. Since they are already ripe, you can make sweetened desserts by simply make a syrup, like caramelize 3-4 tbsps. sugar, add 1&1/2 cups of water. Let it boil briefly in low heat and then put the sliced Saba. Just slice the Saba in half an inch thick. For this particular sweetened banana, maybe use 4-5 pieces only---just the first try. Another way, is by boiling a few PCs but with skin on. Cook for 15 mins on medium heat. It's called 'Nilagang Saba".

Once cooked, you can put some banana with the syrup on a small bowl or a cup then add crushed ice and evaporated milk on top. Voila! Enjoy your saging con yelo. Perfect for summer! Most basic thing to do with saba bananas is to just boil it and it is 3x more delicious. You can also boil it with sugar and evaporated milk. Just dont forget to peel it first before cooking and after that put it in the fridge for about 1 hr and you can eat it

There’s dried/dehydrated okra if you dont like the stickiness. For the saging na saba, you can still cook it even if there’s some black spots showing so you still have time to finish that bunch up~ the more ripe it is the sweeter when cooked (best for turon)~~ i recommend coating it with sugar before frying (if youre just frying as is)
