    Hello! i currently live in korea. i just wanted to let you know that korean bb creams aren't really that 'grey' tone anymore! that was the trend like a few years ago but you know how it is with beauty trends- they change! :) now, the korean bb creams are actually skin tone (yellow or pink or neutral). Also, in korea, I don't know anyone who uses this missha bb cream anymore- it was popular like 5 years ago but so many better products are out there now! :)

      What are your favorite of the new products popular now?

      Omgosh where to begin?? LOL I'm obsessing over the Troiareuke Acsen A+ cushion right now for dry + acne prone skin! it's 99% skincare + 1% pigment so you can even sleep in it! They started selling it on Amazon recently but only comes in one shade (it's about 2 shades darker than Cassie's color). Klair's BB cream is also a popular brand these days for dry skin (can get it at wishtrend.com worldwide shipping). For oily skin, Laneige Pore Control BB Cushion is awesome and a bunch of my friends here use it and love it! !

      TheNeddlove do you know if there is any korean foundation but for darker skin tones that are very olive ? ive never found any :(

      @TV-is1zw 7 лет назад +15

      Hey! I'm Korean and I think I can answer your question :) Unfortunately since Korean makeup companies only make makeup to suit the very small skin tone range in Korea, there are usually only 2-3 colours of foundation and if there are 5 or 6 colours, it's considered a very big range. There will usually never be anything darker than NC 20 or NC 30 :(

      TheNeddlove What foundations are currently popular in Korea right now? Just curious, I've never tried Korean beauty products but I know that they are big on natural looking makeup. Aside from eye makeup I definitely prefer more natural looking face makeup however lots of foundations over here that are for my skin type (oily) are heavy and more fuller coverage than I like :(

    I just watched Wayne Goss' video about "living filters" that some people use in their videos, especially for makeup demos and how wrong it is. This is why I am kinda picky about who I watch and trust for honesty on YT. and this is why I chose your channel to subscribe to Cassie. First what drew me was even though I am much older than you, we have very similar skin types.Secondly, I love how you film in natural light and very rarely use a ring or specific light source so your demos and results are not filtered in any way and are truthful. I just wanted to thank you for being real. I have had success with a lot of products based on your reviews. I also wanted to say that you are amazing and beautiful! Keep up the good work chicky!! xoxoxoxo and double "Boop" for the boys!!

      Aleksandra, I find this method works very well when using this product :)) I even like to put on a light layer of foundation over it to mask the greyish tone. It's really more of a skincare product in my opinion.

    • @maemae4909
      @maemae4909 Год назад

      I agree, the warmth melts it right into the skin, but you can achieve the same thing if you buff the product in with a brush… it just takes longer.
      I absolutely love this bb cream and it is identical to the Dr Jardt bb cream in the gold packaging. It even has the grey tint until you work it into the skin.
      To help people choose shades, 13 is for fairest skin and is most grey but buffs in to be a perfect match somehow. 21 is for light skin, 27 is for medium and 29 is for tan skin. That’s about as deep as it goes. But man if you can find a shade that works, and it is pretty forgiving, being able to melt into the skin to be a good match and undetectable on the skin, this stuff is fantastic. Used it five years ago and just bought 3 more today.

    With all of the BB creams that I've tried, I find they perform WAY better when applied with hands than with a brush or sponge. I feel like sponged and brushes make be creams feel heavier and sit on top of the skin more. Love your vids xx :)

    • @NickaLah
      @NickaLah 7 лет назад +1

      I could see that, and makes sense because I started not liking my fave BB cream as much and forgot it was after I started using a beauty blender. Like it does make it feel heavier for some reason.

    Missha perfect cover BB cream had been one of my favs for years. I recommend tapping it in with the palms of your hands, literally pump the product in your palms clap them together and gently pat it on your face, you'll get the most coverage without using a whole lot of product. It's helped so much with the pigmentation of my skin, even after taking it off and helped get rid of my acne scars and any redness.

    i love love love this foundation! its so natural, even, blends with the skin. good in the winter, excellent in the summer, i went to festivals with this baby and i looked like a dewy goddess. unfortunately they stopped selling it in my city, wasnt any websites i could order it from at the time, also later i got acne so i couldnt use it anymore... but i WOULD definetly purchase it again!!! the tone is so different from european/american bb creams, im quite pale and i love that its not fucking orange.
    best bb cream ever.

    I use this with the BB Boomer that Missha offers. I super LOOOOOOOVE it, been using it for several week. I am combo skin (but mostly oily) and this has worked amazing on my skin. I also think that it has really helped control my acne (as well as cover it). It stays on all day at work, and really doesn't get terribly shiny.

    I am in my late 60's and I'm here to say I love the Misha BB Cream. Most all regular foundations weather it be cheap or expensive show all wrinkles on my face and make the appearance of my face very dry. I do use moisturizer and primer before foundation or BB Cream. This is the best BB Cream for me giving my face the well hydrated look.

    Cassie, how come you don't usually use a primer that is for controlling oil? I feel like some foundations might do even better if you tried a mattifying primer. No hate ❤❤❤

    • @dramaminedream22
      @dramaminedream22 7 лет назад +13

      emma Taylor Most oily skin is actually oily because the skin isn't getting enough moisture and so it overproduces oil. So it's not totally crazy for cassie to be using a moisturizing primer. She's used it with a ton of different foundations and a lot of the foundations have stayed matte for a long while. So I don't think the primer is an issue.

    • @CoralVictoriaful
      @CoralVictoriaful 7 лет назад +1

      Lol No. My dermatologist explained why people have different skin types. For most people their hormones take control of oil productions; the next most common is just the size of your pores. The only time she ever mentioned moisturizing more was when she said she was giving me retin-a and said I needed to use a moisturizer with SPF 50 every day to keep my skin from burning.

    I've been using this BB cream for about a year and a half, maybe two. I've noticed it doesn't hold that well in really hot weather so I usually avoid it during summer unless I know I'll be inside. It does well the rest of the year. If you have dry to normal skin I would recommend you DON'T build it up, it can look cakey. What I do is I build it up on areas I need it, so basically spot conceal. I also agree it applies better with fingertips. And it plays well with other products which is something not all bb creams do.

    I use Burt's Bees BB Cream, seems to look similar to the Korean Missha BB cream. I wonder if you could compare the 2 sometime perhaps? I will say this: Burt's Bee's BB cream is natural and the Noni helps reduce fine lines and wrinkles and is a 9 in 1 BB cream, many good ingredients you don't find in a BB cream for under $15 a tube, all of their cosmetics go well with most skin types!

    I think we need to quit being so arrogant in the US and stop requiring other countries to abide by what we think is best. Korean beauty products are made for people in Korea. They don't need a larger shade range. So why rate the product lower in that aspect? If I go to Korea I wouldn't expect them to do things the way we do them in the US because that is arrogant. I agree that the shade ranges in larger brands that cater to the US need to be fixed. However, smaller brands that can't afford to come out with 50 shades of foundation and international brands that are catering to their own country shouldn't be put in the same category.

      Agree but mine stays on for me when I powder exceptionally well, and I’m oily in the T zone and work in the health field where I sweat a lot bustling about and have to wear a mask. It only comes off on my nose and that’s with about everything when ya gotta wear a mask for 12 hours.

      Hey hey! I have used Neutrogena's Healthy Skin foundation in Natural Ivory (20), Loreal's True Match in N2 Classic Ivory, and the Loreal's LUMI Cushion in N2 Classic Ivory (which is totally my favorite affordable cushion, by the way!!!) I have very light skin, as you can tell!

    wow i’m surprised how good it looks on you. actually, i used this bb cream when i was going to school, like 4-5 years ago i guess lmao and now i don’t remember anything about it except that i loved it a lot. but it looks so naturally beautiful you! i’m thinking about getting it back to my collection since i’m also oily skinned person and its winter now.

    I'm asian , and this is the BEST BB Cream in Asia! I even use this as a primer everyday (for sunscreen and for oil control) Legit it is SO OIL CONTROLLING, i live in the Philippines where the weather is always SCORCHING HOT! This is a Holy Grail for me 😊 I can wear Giorgio Armani luminous or Nars luminous but I always wear this as a primer (just a thin layer provides - light coverage like a tinted moisturizer - as my sunscreen, extra moisturizer & oil controlling primer)
    If you use this as a "foundation" by itself it won't give u the coverage Western foundations give, just use a powder foundation (like MAC studio fix powder), it will STAY ALL DAY and HONESTLY IT HELPS FADE SPOTS & Makes ur skin so hydrated and supple &&& IT DOESNT CLOG PORES ❤️
    I love this BB Cream I'm so happy u reviewed it Cassie! 😍 I've used up 2 big tube-bottles of this ❤️

    It's my mom's and I holy grail. We always end up going back to it. I love that it has a high amount in sunscreen and it's never irritated my skin. What I like about the shades is that if I get lighter or darker I can mix two shades and often it works.

    I use the Missha signature BB cream and I absolutely love it. I have very dry and acne prone skin (so basically just sensitive) and the stuff is awesome. It's the perfect consistency and amount of coverage for me (I prefer a lighter coverage that completely evens out the skin tone and lightly conceals acne without caking on top of it) and it feels so nice and hydrating. Then if I want more coverage I put a higher coverage foundation on top because the BB cream also works as a primer. I bought a tube of it last March and I'm just about finished it now, one pump covers your whole face so the tube lasts a long time. I find it's best applied with a beauty blender and it lasts all day for me :) Also the best colour match for a foundation I've ever used.

    I'm so glad you liked this product! It's my holy grail. I think you'll like the overall feel of it on your face a little better if you use less product next time. I use 1-1.5 pumps for my whole face, and I don't feel like I'm wearing anything on my skin, to the point where any other foundation feels like a heavy mask to me. ^^; So that's what I'd recommend for next time! Also seconding (thirding? fourthing? fifthing?) all the comments about applying with fingers!

    Totally late to the party but this BB Cream looked great on you. I picked it up from Amazon along with the Missha cushion foundation. I'm currently obsessed with testing new foundations. Considering I just bought the new Georgio Armani Power Fabric foundation, the Missha foundations seemed like a huge bargain, lol.

    Missha BB cream should always be applied with your fingers - it needs the warmth to apply correctly. This application will give you full coverage. Also, the Missha BB Boomer applied before the BB cream gives a flawless finish and makes it stay put. This is my favorite "foundation" product to use. 😊
