The thermal imaging of the home towel rail does work due to the shiny surface (Low emisivity if you want the technical term). If you need to measure temperature or a shiny surface with a thermal camera put a strip of PVC electrical tape on the surface. This gives an almost perfect surface to thermally image as the tape has high emmisivity and is thermally transparent. Nice work as ever Tom!
@PlumbLikeTom iIt's all about sharing knowledge to help others. You never know, one day that info might just get you out of trouble on a job. You share your work with us so as a qualified thermographer if I can share useful info back and maybe just help someone add to their knowlege why not.
Interesting video, thanks Tom. Hope you’re feeling better. Vitamin D can be useful to help in your immune system fight off infections, but we’re generally deficient here in the U.K. (low sunlight) so most GPs advise taking a supplement - especially in winter!
Hi Tom, I’m sure you were glad to see the end of that job, it was a big installation. The job on the snow ❄️ covered roof looks very cold 🥶. Hope you are soon feeling better, take care and look after yourself. Another great film thanks Tom. 👍👍👍
There is nothing like finishing off the job and checking everything works ok so get it ticked off there are always little niggles that's why we do the checks..Jacob will miss this especially all that plumbing in the roof space .👍👍. As for that air handling unit .they did not accept your price . So get the firm back who installed it .. A top job you and Jacob have done there 👍👍 Hope you feel better soon 👍👍.there is a lot of bugs going around at the moment.
Thanks for the support as always John, It's nice to get everything checked and working, with plumbing it only takes a tiny mistake and it can ruin a good job
Evening Tom,you need a hot toddy to warm the bones up,extra work charge a higher rate especially if you’ve already quoted for the job and they gave it to somebody else , have a couple of Toddy’s and wrap up warm football is on tomorrow ,have a good weekend Tom see you on the next one, brilliant video 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🥃🥃🥃🥃🥃
