  • Breaking Bad - "Better Call Saul" Reaction (S2E8). // What a crazy character, you guys lmao. Saul is insane!! A couple quick updates:
-A few people have asked me about a Patreon for full-length reactions. I am working on exporting the full-lengths of all my existing videos, so that will be up once I have a catalogue of stuff to put on there :).
-A few people have commented on my general upload time, and I just wanted to say I am doing the best I can. Please keep in mind that each reaction video takes me at least 5-6 hours to make: 1 hour to watch, a 2nd to record the ep (until I have better audio equipment, cannot record simultaneously), an hour or 2 to edit, and about 2 hours for export, upload and copyright check. I also work 50-60 hour weeks, so while I am working on ways to cut this time down and get you reactions faster, please be patient with me! :)
-Finally, as always, if you're interested, my IG is @ericareacts.
    Thanks for watching!

Bob Odenkirk (Saul) started as an improv comic and writer... he was once comedy partners with Conan O'Brian..and both worked on SNL together as writers in the late 80's.. then he was on "The Ben Stiller Show" as a writer and performer in the early 90's which was short lived but became a cult hit... in the mid 90's he and comedian David Cross had a legendary HBO sketch comedy show called "MR. SHOW"... and that's where BB creator Vince Gilligan became a huge fan of him.. he wrote the part of Saul with Bob in mind. Better Call Saul the series is a prequel to Breaking Bad.. and believe it or not.. it's actually equal to and in some ways better than Breaking Bad.

It’s only entrapment if the government coerces you to commit a crime you were not already prone to committing (for example, badger already had the drugs so he wasn’t entrapped) and an undercover doesn’t have to tell you he’s a police officer. It’s a very generalized standard. Now if the police officer asked Badger to cook some meth without having knowledge that Badger cooks meth or has anything to do with meth- and then he busts Badger when he does what the officer told him then that’s entrapment. But even then.. some courts have held that’s not entrapment either especially on the Federal side of the law. It’s a very broad standard that they use.

Don't think its entrapment if he has a large quantity of drugs on him to begin with. A lawyer would have to argue that their client would never have normally committed the crime if someone didn't talk them into it.
I do take issue with the undercover cop immediately pulling the gun out. Badger showed no aggression, no record of violent crime nor had a weapon that was visable. Cops need a reason to pull and point a gun.

The series "Better Call Saul" is nowhere near as compelling and as intense as "Breaking Bad" is -- it's all just a personal opinion, of course, but "Breaking Bad" will always be my favorite of the two series. However, BCS is a good show -- worth watching, for sure -- but it's an investment of 5 seasons so far (Season 6 will be the final one), and some of those earlier seasons are very slow (like a long montage of someone making phone calls, for example). BCS starts to pick up some steam in Season 3 and beyond... when it becomes more like Breaking Bad!

Seriously better call Saul is a great show. But definitely dont watch it or look anything up on it til after you finish breaking bad. I think youd really like it. Saul is a great character. He's not my favorite but I do like him a lot.
Jesse telling badger "wrong guy kther brnch" cracks me up. That whole scene was funny to me. Lol.
Hank doesnt seem to buy it. Definitely isnt as stuoid as they hope he is... Well maybe lol. Ok.
Another great reaction. Be safe girlie

@@HeyErica Hey, I just notIced that the showrunners were having fun with us. Before Badger gets busted, he said, "Duke City Flowers? Come on!". And later when the cops bust the fake Heisenberg, at 15:25 of your reaction, they make a point of using the exact same vans but this time with Duke City Flowers right in our faces.

Saul brings humour to this perfect show.
Yes, this episode is relatively important for Better Call Saul series.
Things I told you to remember in earlier episodes are for this series.
I'll tell you the small details from here and in later episodes when you plan to watch it.

When was this pole announced prior to this? I don't recall hearing about it till now, went to vote for movies and found I already lost before I got to vote. I think Republican and Democrats would both like to hire you in November.

The first poll was only announced via text - I mentioned it in a community post prior to releasing it, but not in a video. Sorry about that. The current poll is ongoing.

@@HeyErica I've got my Bell set for "all notifications" but I never get anything saying that there has been a "community post" (this is true across the board, I never see anyone's community post). I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or what. Anyway, kinda bummed, but no biggie. I'll still drop by for the Breaking Bad.
