In fact, you presented the information in such a thorough and engaging manner, it was easy to lose track of time. You must have put tons of hours into editing as well. Incredible. As a digimon fan, I thank you wholeheartedly. This has opened my eyes and rekindled my passion for a franchise I thought was getting monotonous. Though your video, I discovered 4-5 manga that I want to read and a couple of games I'd like to play. Sure, there were some mistakes - such as you referring to the 4 great dragons as the 4 holy dragons, but it was clear what you meant in each chapter. I found your conclusion about the Collective Consciousness very valid. Considering everything you mentioned and the research you have done, it no doubt holds a lot of weight. I'm curious as to how, in the example you used, Suedo still felt sorrow and loss after wiping his memories clean. It would certainly explain why multiversal developments, such as the personalities of the Royal Knights, would be so similar across the multiverse. They could be protagonists or antagonists but still retain feelings of authority and roles. One thing for sure is how the Collective Consciousness is connected to the soul and flesh. Maybe it's the flesh that creates and retains the soul, and memories are just vehicles carrying/copying soul data to the Collective, thereby transferring them to the rest of the multiverse. That's my take anyway. Perhaps this Collective Consciousness is a type of god, neither digital nor physical, but meta? Or an immemorial, perennial archive that is uncharted and untouched even by host computer gods like Yggdrasil. I was once bullied and mocked because I expressed my love for digimon, known as a kids' show. This solidifies why Digimon is my favourite franchise. It's so complex and dark and meta! It makes both my inner kid and outer adult very satisfied. Digimon ftw.
I'm not very far in the video but just got to your illustration of the multiverse. It looks like you forgot the Tamagotchi universe. Nanimon is an Oyajitchi that came from the Tamagotchi universe to the Digimon universe and had to grow stronger in order to survive. That's canon in the Digimon reference book

1:34:22 Armageddemon's status as a mega is dubious as while the reference book says its stage is Mega, it also says it's an "Ultra Digimon" (Super-Ultimate in Japanese) in the profile section and in Cyber Sleuth (and I'm guessing ReArise), it is indeed an Ultra stage and aside from Arcadiamon, I think might be the only Ultra in that game to not actually be a Mega stage officially (especially TyrantKabuterimon, the most nonsensical Ultra in the entire game as it had already been established to evolve from Ultimate stage digimon). Although some of them evolve normally from mega stage which in Cyber Sleuth alone makes them ultras by technicality (Apocalymon notwithstanding) but those created by fusion (incorrectly localized as DNA Digievolution as evidenced when Nokia's partner digimon shout "Yuugo!" when they become Omegamon but the localized text says "DNA Digivolve!" (incidentally, the original term to describe Omegamon was actually gattai but gattai is more commonly used in Japanese media to refer to combinations of giant robots like in Super Sentai rather than fusions between characters)) or mode changes (Imperialdramon PM aside as this is an evolution, not a mode change) are absolutely not.

There are a few conclusions I've drawn over the years. This collective consciousness, or idea of a 'center' being where the universes draw information from, I believe is true. However, I think it's hinted or downright stated in AncientWisemon's profile. The Akashic Records. I also think that Digimon Adventure 2020 is important in understanding the future of the original Digimon Adventure universe. (More on that when I have more time to edit) I also don't think Cyber Sleuth's Dice analogy is made for the multiverse, but more of a principal the Cyber Sleuth universe goes through because that very game has an Earth that was restarted into a different world.
Some Digimon do Indeed have none however some also obviously have one or are stated to have one, this is as a result of absorbing data about Sex (not the act I mean being male and female) a good example is the many Digimon who have clear female traits or names (Angewomon, Irismon etc)
1:51:19 You're actually mistaken, this Kimeramon is in fact part of the Millenniumon Ryo and Ken fought, or rather its leftover data was. Millenniumon had time warping powers and came from after the events of 02. There's simply no way Kimeramon could have existed in the Adventure canon without having been artificially created and the digidestined who created the Sovereigns certainly didn't make one and it's not likely it was made by Gennai's people either and given the timing, there's simply no good reason that Millenniumon would have been created during the events of Our War Game as it would imply a Kimeramon was just defeated but that makes no sense. It also doesn't make any sense for Millenniumon to travel back to the events of Our War Game either and Gennai likewise wouldn't have had Tai's digivice if the digital world seen in Anthode and Cathode didn't exist before the events of Adventure, implying after Ryo landed in the Digital world, he and Agumon got yeeted back in time. Honestly the writing in these games is head-scratching to say the least.

I think there might be a slight misinterpretation in the Adventure section of the video. It's your placement of V-Tamer 01: A New Courage. You present it as being connected to the Original Adventure timeline, when it seems to more closely resemble the Adventure 2020 timeline. My evidence is as follows: 1. When Adventure Taichi is recounting the events before he was warped, the designs of the children match their 2020 counterparts, more than their og counterparts. 2. The Digivice is the 2020 Adventure version. 3. In that same story, even though it's only a silhouette, Agumon Warp-Digivolves to WarGreymon without the physical crest, which was needed for that to happen in the first adventure (no pun intended) until the final battle with Apocalymon. While it's not a big thing, it bugged me enough to point it out. Especially because I consider OG Adventure and 2020 Adventure timelines as unconnected worlds

Digimon is such a big franchise with so many creators who have brought their own ideas to it. It can be confusing to get into but also a lot of fun when you find the entry that fits your own tastes. I think that may be what I like about it.

1:52:01 Before he died, he met his Digimon partner, Datatarimon one last time. Datirimon is a massive anomaly as it's never appeared in any of the traditional v-pets (or Vital Bracelet) with the only LCD toy appearances being the encyclopedia toys, D-Terminal, D-Gather and D-Spirit nor has it appeared in any card game and the only game it's appeared in is apparently Digimon Super Rumble? It doesn't evolve in that game. It is literally the _only_ digimon to appear in the anime to have no evolutions or prior forms (Calumon actually evolves in video and card games, as well as digixrosses in Super Xros Wars Red and Blue) but it has appeared in Savers, Frontier and the Adventure reboot meaning that this one anomalous digimon who never changes must exist across the Digimon multiverse to _some_ capacity.
Just finished the video in normal speed. Took me a few days, thank you for doing this. I found it interesting what stories were connected to each other. I think about the memory concept is connected and hinted at in Digimon Liberator in Chapters 5-1 and 5-2. Surprised this wasn't in multiple parts.
Other universes where Digimon could potentially exist - World of Ultraman X - Pokémon (Digital worlds and digital pokémon do already exist in that multiverse) - TemTem (Same situation as Pokémon, with there being Digital Temtem, so they might be a sub-species of Digimon like Appmon)
I just wanted to say, congratulations on managing to put this together. It really is a huge effort and its not every day that we see an 11 hour Digimon lore video. However, I still noticed many inconsistencies and mistakes in this video, especially in how some of the timelines were constructed and how some of the lore was explained. It makes me wonder if one day way later down the line, we could get an updated version of this video, with not only newer Digimon media being included but also fixing the past mistakes of this video. Preferably with each major timeline/world as its own separate video since it must be so hard to condense everything into just one video.
The video is amazing, and it should have been a lot of work and research to get together! You are amazing! Only 2 points that I got that you missed: Zeromaru was a Agumon that turned in a V-dramon, not a V-mon! and the "device" that appears at the beginning of Next Order (in the "Virtual Realite Universe" section of your video) is a Digital Monster, the virtual pet toy that started all the francise. It appeared in the original Digimon World too (I have 2 DM20th, they are superfun!) Keep the good work and cannot wait for the next project of yours!
I thought about it, but its probably going to make it more difficult to follow with all the space travelling. And making different videos might make some content go overlooked. By using the timestamps in one video, at least one can quickly jump from one info to the other.

Took me roughly a week to finish this video 😅 But I definitely learned quite a bit! I never realized that so many were interconnected! I love Digimon Story Sunburst and Moonlight but I never realized it was within the Savers universe! I thought DATS was in there as a Easter Egg. Even though I've read Xros Wars Manga I never realized that it shared a Yggdrasill with the Savers world. One thing though, is Cool Boy 100% confirmed to be the same one in BOTH universes? And that it isn't the same thing as Adventure and V-Tamers Taichi? It's funny you mentioned the idea of a collective consciousness with the Digital World, as I believe I've mentioned before but I worked on a Digimon Story which I named Digimon Story Central Server with the Digital World setting being a location called the Central Server, where Data from every Digital World eventually passes through there. A world where like Arise every group can be found. But the Chosen 4 are partnered with a Royal Knight, an Arcangel, and 2 Demon Lords. There is a reason why no Olympian is part of the team.
This took me two days to finish but it was a lot of information. Should cover everything though I admit I don't know anything about the Chinese side of the Digimon universe at all.

There's no chance the Wondersawn games, the V-Tamer Adventure crossovers and the Golden Digimentals movie can all be part of the same timeline because the Digmental of Miracles was created three different ways... In the Golden Digimentals case, it can't have been transported instead of created because then the Digimon Emperor's base would have fallen apart early and that's the only point the movie could have taken place (exactly when the movie even takes place is dubious enough). I mean don't get me wrong, Ryo and Ken still fought Millenniummon but the events of Tag Tamer didn't happen verbatim as in addition to the inconsistencies mentioned in this video, Ryo didn't create the digimentals in the Digimon Adventure canon and also Tag Tamer had a Digimental of Kindness instead of the Digimental of Miracles being a casing to protect the Crest of Kindness. Ken never had his own digimental in the Adventure canon. The Ryo in Tamers also can't be the same as either of the other two because had lived with his family in the Tamers human world long before he went to the Digital World (this was a notable absence in the DMCG competitive scene and Rika, not knowing what happened to Ryo became bitter about losing her rival), which means that was his original universe in the Tamers canon which makes no sense in the 02 and WS game canon. This Ryo also fought Millenniummon as ZeedMillenniummon at the very least because Cyberdramon is still the fusion (and not jogress because jogress is specifically a fusion that increases stage from the highest level of the two components) between Monodramon and ZeedMillenniummon
DigimonExplained... it would be intriguing to speak to you about this style of lore and... how do I say.... its impact on this "reality." I am afraid, as a childhood Digimon fan and adult study of the occult... you and I have similar conclusions even before my finding your work. ...good thing our digivices can connect us, huh?

This has opened my eyes and rekindled my passion for a franchise I thought was getting monotonous. Though your video, I discovered 4-5 manga that I want to read and a couple of games I'd like to play.
Sure, there were some mistakes - such as you referring to the 4 great dragons as the 4 holy dragons, but it was clear what you meant in each chapter.
I found your conclusion about the Collective Consciousness very valid. Considering everything you mentioned and the research you have done, it no doubt holds a lot of weight. I'm curious as to how, in the example you used, Suedo still felt sorrow and loss after wiping his memories clean. It would certainly explain why multiversal developments, such as the personalities of the Royal Knights, would be so similar across the multiverse. They could be protagonists or antagonists but still retain feelings of authority and roles.
One thing for sure is how the Collective Consciousness is connected to the soul and flesh. Maybe it's the flesh that creates and retains the soul, and memories are just vehicles carrying/copying soul data to the Collective, thereby transferring them to the rest of the multiverse. That's my take anyway. Perhaps this Collective Consciousness is a type of god, neither digital nor physical, but meta? Or an immemorial, perennial archive that is uncharted and untouched even by host computer gods like Yggdrasil.
I was once bullied and mocked because I expressed my love for digimon, known as a kids' show. This solidifies why Digimon is my favourite franchise. It's so complex and dark and meta! It makes both my inner kid and outer adult very satisfied. Digimon ftw.

I'm not very far in the video but just got to your illustration of the multiverse. It looks like you forgot the Tamagotchi universe. Nanimon is an Oyajitchi that came from the Tamagotchi universe to the Digimon universe and had to grow stronger in order to survive. That's canon in the Digimon reference book

1:34:22 Armageddemon's status as a mega is dubious as while the reference book says its stage is Mega, it also says it's an "Ultra Digimon" (Super-Ultimate in Japanese) in the profile section and in Cyber Sleuth (and I'm guessing ReArise), it is indeed an Ultra stage and aside from Arcadiamon, I think might be the only Ultra in that game to not actually be a Mega stage officially (especially TyrantKabuterimon, the most nonsensical Ultra in the entire game as it had already been established to evolve from Ultimate stage digimon).
Although some of them evolve normally from mega stage which in Cyber Sleuth alone makes them ultras by technicality (Apocalymon notwithstanding) but those created by fusion (incorrectly localized as DNA Digievolution as evidenced when Nokia's partner digimon shout "Yuugo!" when they become Omegamon but the localized text says "DNA Digivolve!" (incidentally, the original term to describe Omegamon was actually gattai but gattai is more commonly used in Japanese media to refer to combinations of giant robots like in Super Sentai rather than fusions between characters)) or mode changes (Imperialdramon PM aside as this is an evolution, not a mode change) are absolutely not.
Okay yea, this answers a lot of my answers. I do hope that 2020 timeline does expand with more Digimon stories. I would have liked it a lot.

There are a few conclusions I've drawn over the years.
This collective consciousness, or idea of a 'center' being where the universes draw information from, I believe is true. However, I think it's hinted or downright stated in AncientWisemon's profile. The Akashic Records.
I also think that Digimon Adventure 2020 is important in understanding the future of the original Digimon Adventure universe. (More on that when I have more time to edit)
I also don't think Cyber Sleuth's Dice analogy is made for the multiverse, but more of a principal the Cyber Sleuth universe goes through because that very game has an Earth that was restarted into a different world.
Some Digimon do Indeed have none however some also obviously have one or are stated to have one, this is as a result of absorbing data about Sex (not the act I mean being male and female) a good example is the many Digimon who have clear female traits or names (Angewomon, Irismon etc)

1:51:19 You're actually mistaken, this Kimeramon is in fact part of the Millenniumon Ryo and Ken fought, or rather its leftover data was. Millenniumon had time warping powers and came from after the events of 02. There's simply no way Kimeramon could have existed in the Adventure canon without having been artificially created and the digidestined who created the Sovereigns certainly didn't make one and it's not likely it was made by Gennai's people either and given the timing, there's simply no good reason that Millenniumon would have been created during the events of Our War Game as it would imply a Kimeramon was just defeated but that makes no sense. It also doesn't make any sense for Millenniumon to travel back to the events of Our War Game either and Gennai likewise wouldn't have had Tai's digivice if the digital world seen in Anthode and Cathode didn't exist before the events of Adventure, implying after Ryo landed in the Digital world, he and Agumon got yeeted back in time. Honestly the writing in these games is head-scratching to say the least.

I think there might be a slight misinterpretation in the Adventure section of the video. It's your placement of V-Tamer 01: A New Courage. You present it as being connected to the Original Adventure timeline, when it seems to more closely resemble the Adventure 2020 timeline. My evidence is as follows:
1. When Adventure Taichi is recounting the events before he was warped, the designs of the children match their 2020 counterparts, more than their og counterparts.
2. The Digivice is the 2020 Adventure version.
3. In that same story, even though it's only a silhouette, Agumon Warp-Digivolves to WarGreymon without the physical crest, which was needed for that to happen in the first adventure (no pun intended) until the final battle with Apocalymon.
While it's not a big thing, it bugged me enough to point it out. Especially because I consider OG Adventure and 2020 Adventure timelines as unconnected worlds

Digimon is such a big franchise with so many creators who have brought their own ideas to it. It can be confusing to get into but also a lot of fun when you find the entry that fits your own tastes.
I think that may be what I like about it.

1:52:01 Before he died, he met his Digimon partner, Datatarimon one last time. Datirimon is a massive anomaly as it's never appeared in any of the traditional v-pets (or Vital Bracelet) with the only LCD toy appearances being the encyclopedia toys, D-Terminal, D-Gather and D-Spirit nor has it appeared in any card game and the only game it's appeared in is apparently Digimon Super Rumble? It doesn't evolve in that game. It is literally the _only_ digimon to appear in the anime to have no evolutions or prior forms (Calumon actually evolves in video and card games, as well as digixrosses in Super Xros Wars Red and Blue) but it has appeared in Savers, Frontier and the Adventure reboot meaning that this one anomalous digimon who never changes must exist across the Digimon multiverse to _some_ capacity.

Just finished the video in normal speed. Took me a few days, thank you for doing this. I found it interesting what stories were connected to each other. I think about the memory concept is connected and hinted at in Digimon Liberator in Chapters 5-1 and 5-2. Surprised this wasn't in multiple parts.

I just wanted to say, congratulations on managing to put this together. It really is a huge effort and its not every day that we see an 11 hour Digimon lore video. However, I still noticed many inconsistencies and mistakes in this video, especially in how some of the timelines were constructed and how some of the lore was explained. It makes me wonder if one day way later down the line, we could get an updated version of this video, with not only newer Digimon media being included but also fixing the past mistakes of this video. Preferably with each major timeline/world as its own separate video since it must be so hard to condense everything into just one video.

and the "device" that appears at the beginning of Next Order (in the "Virtual Realite Universe" section of your video) is a Digital Monster, the virtual pet toy that started all the francise. It appeared in the original Digimon World too (I have 2 DM20th, they are superfun!)

I thought about it, but its probably going to make it more difficult to follow with all the space travelling. And making different videos might make some content go overlooked. By using the timestamps in one video, at least one can quickly jump from one info to the other.
To add more to the mix, now monster hunter will be part of the digimon multiverse too, with the rathgreymon and zinogarurumon hahaha, i love this franchise

I love Digimon Story Sunburst and Moonlight but I never realized it was within the Savers universe! I thought DATS was in there as a Easter Egg.
Even though I've read Xros Wars Manga I never realized that it shared a Yggdrasill with the Savers world.
One thing though, is Cool Boy 100% confirmed to be the same one in BOTH universes? And that it isn't the same thing as Adventure and V-Tamers Taichi?
It's funny you mentioned the idea of a collective consciousness with the Digital World, as I believe I've mentioned before but I worked on a Digimon Story which I named Digimon Story Central Server with the Digital World setting being a location called the Central Server, where Data from every Digital World eventually passes through there.
A world where like Arise every group can be found. But the Chosen 4 are partnered with a Royal Knight, an Arcangel, and 2 Demon Lords.
There is a reason why no Olympian is part of the team.

The virtual reality universe. I dont know why but I loved it most. Maybe because it has been so fleshed out.
There's no chance the Wondersawn games, the V-Tamer Adventure crossovers and the Golden Digimentals movie can all be part of the same timeline because the Digmental of Miracles was created three different ways... In the Golden Digimentals case, it can't have been transported instead of created because then the Digimon Emperor's base would have fallen apart early and that's the only point the movie could have taken place (exactly when the movie even takes place is dubious enough). I mean don't get me wrong, Ryo and Ken still fought Millenniummon but the events of Tag Tamer didn't happen verbatim as in addition to the inconsistencies mentioned in this video, Ryo didn't create the digimentals in the Digimon Adventure canon and also Tag Tamer had a Digimental of Kindness instead of the Digimental of Miracles being a casing to protect the Crest of Kindness. Ken never had his own digimental in the Adventure canon. The Ryo in Tamers also can't be the same as either of the other two because had lived with his family in the Tamers human world long before he went to the Digital World (this was a notable absence in the DMCG competitive scene and Rika, not knowing what happened to Ryo became bitter about losing her rival), which means that was his original universe in the Tamers canon which makes no sense in the 02 and WS game canon. This Ryo also fought Millenniummon as ZeedMillenniummon at the very least because Cyberdramon is still the fusion (and not jogress because jogress is specifically a fusion that increases stage from the highest level of the two components) between Monodramon and ZeedMillenniummon
