Hi, Been noticing your videos for a while. Only decided to subscribe now. I’m a mom with 3 but also like my crown vic very much 😊 I like what you did with your interior light. Your trunk also looks spacious and uncluttered. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
That is one well-lit interior. It's on par with my BMW interior lighting, dare I say better. The BMW has lighting for days and is very inviting. It's a cozy and comforting interior with factory lighting setup. Your Vic and Merc give BMW a run for their money. Now you just need that hood light. I noticed my Vic had the wiring for the hood light, but the light housing was missing when I first bought it. I spied a housing, bulb and connector in a Lincoln at the local Pick n Pull (it even has an on off switch). I put it in the Vic, and she's all good now. I need to upgrade my interior lighting game once I get that dark mode disabled. I can't get over how nice yours looks in the dark. Beautiful.
Right on Khris, Long time no see, thanks for stopping in. This current box is a single 10”. I used to run a single 12” but it took up the whole trunk because it had to sit on the bottom of the trunk. I miss that deep, deep 12” thump. But the 10” is still plenty loud. Here is the same speaker in a much smaller box in my 2010 MGM. Oh yeah, I make the boxes myself so I can get them to fit just right, and not waste any space; ruclips.net/video/_n7QAU6Ux8I/видео.html Here is a better view of the box in my Vic; ruclips.net/video/IE3Hh4xuGpw/видео.html -Chuck

What fuses did you have to change? I want to do this, but I’m not screwing around with load resistors. I just got my Crown Vic PI literally a few hours ago, so I’m unfamiliar. Please lmk, thanks

This is going to sound stupid but, I have a 2002 Grand Marquis LS with an aftermarket double din head unit with a reverse camera connected to my reverse lights. So, my question is; would change my reverse bulbs to LED's, would that cause any issues to my reverse camera? Will it still work or will it possibly cause any issues? Great video by the way!
Yo Shaia, Thanks for the kind words. I also have a 2010 Grand Marquis with a double DIN, a back up camera, and LED bulbs installed in the reverse light fixtures. And they all function properly together. @@PanzerPlatform Outstanding! If you have any early insight let me know. I almost got rear ended yesterday morning so I started googling brighter 3rd brake light options right away, lol!
@@PanzerPlatform I'm surprised youre straying from the Sylvania bulbs! I know they have been your go-to for a while now. I was actually about to order up the Sylvania ZEVO 3157's, should I get these Formula J87's instead?

Indeed they do bright up tremendously. Awesome.
Right on Chris.
it's crazy how many vehicles don't come with under hood lighting. I think they all need it!
Yo Gary,
I know, right?
What's next, no more dipsticks?
-Chuck
my Charger came without a transmission dipstick :(
Damn those ball washin' bastards.
How have you been checking your fluid?
Man the lights really got the Vic looking sharp. 👌🏾
Yo D,
Thanks for coming 'round.

Yo Eric,

Those lights are very good and bright, by the way what size speaker do you have up in there in your trunk?

@@PanzerPlatform ok good deal I'm gonna check this out, because I wanna do a similar setup with 2 10s or 4 8s.

What do you use for the 3rd brake light? My 5% tint is killing the brightness of the stock bulbs

Thanks for stopping in.
I'm currently testing LED bulbs for that application / location.
