Alex sounds beastly as per, Paolo is only getting better and better, Corey is killing it and Matt is sounding better than ever. The Future of trivium is very bright indeed

I thought of Corey's solos in TSATS where awesome, the title track and Beauty in Sorrow come to mind. I think they're just more forgettable because the riffs and parts of this album are so killer

He's very consistent live as well. With Travis everyone made mistakes since he played faster live so they couldnt keep up with the Shogun riffs

Paolo's mic was at about 50 dB above the rest of the band for this one. I absolutely love the music these guys make, but the live mixing always seems to be a bit off.
Yeah. The whole festival was mixed like that. Idk why they don't hear it. Guitars not loud enough drums too loud etc.
Paolo said on Instagram that it wasn't the band's sound guy, it was someone from the festival itself.

Ive seen Trivium 6 times. It was while i lived in Florida. Every show i went to they played at. I can honestly say they got better with each performance. 1st time i saw them i had never heard of them. Now im a fan for life. This show proves tjey get better each one. Every member here is in fucking beast mode!!!!

The best vocal part in my opinion is towards the end where Corey has a lengthy scream, Matt's deep voice, and Paulo's melodic singing all mixing together. Listened to that section 3 times. It's amazing what they can do live

People complaining about Paolo's vocals: this was almost certainly a mixing issue. The lead melody on the chorus is low, and he's singing the high harmony, the problem is Matt is A. already mixed lower and B. Paolo is singing higher which generally cuts through the mix better.

I'm a simple man, I saw Trivium- I clicked
This is such an explosive song. The rolling drum parts on the verse gives you that pull harder intro vibe. That prechorus just sounds so powerful. The guitar parts, while its not the old Trivium thrash-ish riffs it certainly sounds menacing especially at the verse. The riff for the pre-corey-solo similarly sounds menacing and just makes you wanna growl.
