RIP Rod, always enjoyed watching your down to earth reviews and bike surgery.. A top guy and sadly missed...
This exact bike is currently for sale at a dealer in county Durham I sat on it yesterday
Those side bags look just like the Suzuki bags on my 2003 V Strom 1000.
Good bike.
This thing is a sleeping Monster
biuty moto ,how tall are you?
I have the Varadero 125 thats the same its a big bike feel.
hi Chuck Norris.
'Predatory'? WTF.
Heavy slow crap off road.
...obviously never owned one!. ... Nothing nice to say, say nothing!
In South Africa, us real men use these offroad all the time, not pussies living on islands!
Oh baby kins dunna cry...they are heavy they are slow and they are crap off road...old scrap now aswell..how old are they....sorry you own a slow old heavy crap off road bike though...at least it as 2 mirrors for both your hats
I have a 20 year old one , it's a great bike ultra reliable and very comfy .
You won't get many Keep Taking Monies going for 20 years and not have issues
whats the point of reviewing bikes that does'nt excist anymore
these are old reviews that they put online.
I must be imagining mine then....
great watching these old reviews when looking to buy an old bike
+Tinkerin' Thinkers what's the point in moaning about it ? RIP Rod . great bikes the varadero 1000 if you can afford it the 6 speed fuel injected one is a lot more fuel efficient . 250 mile tank range from the 25 litres if riding steady . 150 miles for 17 euro's worth of petrol mixed riding mostly going steady but giving it its head now and then nothing wrong with that . a carbed version while good value for money these days for such a solid reliable bike if your commuting a lot of miles it will hit your pocket if you trash it . expect it to consume 200 ml of oil every 1000 miles . it takes 4.2 litres with a filter change so buy a 5 litre can of oil . anakee 2 tyres handle great even on wet roads ; )
First of all these we're filmed in the early 2000s.
And there are plenty of great used bikes available so it's fantastic to see these older reviews of them.
