Just got my rc 350 f sport calipers in the mail, happy to say the test fit with the oem 5 spoke 18” wheels cleared with wheel weights. They don’t have the same 1/4” step up as Binh’s oem wheels. Hope this helps someone!

if you ever have the brakes apart again, hit the kuckle with green scuff pad then steel wool and then use some aluminum polish and a budffer and that knuckle will be like a mirror! did that on my GS and think itd look good on you ride
I'll post them for sale once I clean them up. I'm debating having to package and ship them though since the cost to ship 75lbs isn't cheap and worth the effort considering the aftermarket cost of these isn't much these days.

On my 2015 gs350, Im doing the ISF front calipers which bolt on and use the oem f sport 2 piece rotors. I wish there was aftermarket replacement rings for the 2 piece oem rotors.

Yea. Perfect candidate. The 06 GS300 is the only 3GS that got screwed for the big front brakes. Rear is same as others though, just a slightly different caliper.

Bigger brakes don’t really feel much different during normal driving. But when they heat up and on track or aggressive driving they make a difference for brake fade.

PLEASE ANSWER!! I have a 2006 Lexus is250 and am looking to do the is350 brake upgrade kit.The rear rotors are larger and the rear calipers are minimally different but I saw one example where the rear is350 caliper wasn't a direct bolt up to the is250 and the mounting bracket from the is250 had to be drilled and tapped to a different thread pattern to be able to bolt up the is350 rear caliper. Is the is350 rear caliper a direct bolt up? Or what needs to be done to modify it? Thanks in advance!

They are fine for my needs. It’s more for looks since I got big wheels. They design of the 2-piece is stupid with the rivets instead of bolts. If they had bolts like aftermarket BBK and make the rings replaceable, it would have saved them tons from the TSB. Most people replacing the rotors later are installing solid $50 rotors anyway after they realized the 2-piece are $250/each.

i got different numbers for the stainless lines, for my is250 it says that StopTech 950.44504 is the part number for my car. Are yours different for the 14" ?

You have the right rotors? Nothing is grinding? Make sure you have IS350 AWD rotors or 2013+ USA spec 350 IS rotors. RWD and some AWD GS rotors rub the axles.

Everything is installed correctly, it doesn’t rub anything, it doesn’t catch, it slows down clearly better than a car, but the sprung weight has increased on the front axle by about 6 kg and I can see it in handling, reaction speed in the steering wheel, in the feeling of rutting. While I'm getting used to it, maybe I'll change it back to the old ones.

For IS250 AWD, you need 2012+ USA spec front IS350 rotors. All front IS350/GS350 calipers are the same. Rears you need IS350 rotors/calipers/brackets. The pads on rear are same as 250.

There is the IS350 big brake upgrade like your other video and you have the F Sport upgrade like this video. So which one of the two upgrades CAN I do? For AWD, you can not do the GS350 Fsport. There isn’t enough back side room for the axle CV. You can do IS350 calipers and 2012+ rotors that have the hub venting on the rear.

Vincent Valentine the is350 uses a 13” rotor. Plenty of options available on market. Make sure it’s for USA spec 2012+ or IS350 AWD. RWD won’t fit the front axles.

Hey man I’m going to be tackling the is350 brake upgrade tomorrow and was using this and your other videos for reference and just had a question for the brake line upgrades, it didn’t seem like yours leaked much fluid while you were changing them? Did you drain the fluid before hand or did you do anything to slow down the flow when you were switching the brake lines?

That PN is the left side IS350 caliper. For the 13 inch rotors. They used this on the IS, GS, and RC with regular 13 inch brakes. See my other video on IS350 upgrade on IS250.
Do you have to get an engineer certificate to make these brakes road legal in the US ? Even though they all OEM parts ? In Australia you have to get a mod plate to make it road legal if the vehicle didn’t have the brake upgrade as an option !!! Is the master cylinder he same as the 350 ? Is the ABS pump the same as 350 ? Brake booster? Brake bias ? ABS module ? The engineer looks at all this when does the brake test !!
No. Only the GS350 RWD F-Sport comes with 14” rotors. The OEM rotors are two piece and cost $250/each. The aftermarket Centric can be had for $32/each up to $75/each. Non FSport and AWD have IS350 calipers/rotors n

I didn’t see much difference but I went from IS350 13” to these 14” so not much change. Still same pads between both brakes.

I have a video on 20” wheels but no need to recalibrate. Most of the time the overall diameter is with 5% to 10% of OEM and good enough.

Yea 350 loaded caliper is a bolt on. Must have the caliper and bracket for the 350. Need to modify the dust shield to fit 12” center rotors.

The larger 350 4-piston calipers fit ALL IS250 ever made. Need the matching rotors. If you are AWD, need 2012+ USA spec rotors.

Yea. Barely fits but word is that 17s for the IS will clear not sure about other OEM 17s.

Nope. The rotors don’t have the rear clearance for the axles. You can do IS350 using 2012 USA spec rotors. They are made to work on both RWD and AWD.

AWD can not do this cause of the rotors. You can do IS350 calipers using 2012+ rotors which work on both AWD and RWD.

Bolt on. For GSF brakes since they didn’t mess with hub space.
Aren’t the oem brake lines Kevlar lined? Thus making the stainless steel kit not really needed? I could be wrong though idk.

Idk. It’s borderline on OEM 18s. 06-08 are a no. But people have fit 11+ FSport wheels so only way is to test fit on a GS350 Fsport.

Sidney , I have 350 rear rotors with calipers off an 06 GS300. It’s slightly different than the IS/GS350 caliper. The design is like 250 but bigger.

I think they are both the same thickness, minimum 27mm, nominal 29.5mm. They use the same pads.

Just paint them? Powder coating will require rebuilding the calipers with new rubber seals. Would only do that if seals were shot.

nope, but you can look them up on Bell Lexus parts or other sites like that. These would be F-sport for GS350 or RC350 (non AWD).

Are you replacing lines? You can do a drain into a bottle then swap in new and bleed.

for the line change, let it hang down and drain before you unscrew the hardline to the rubber. Then take it out to minimize the mess.

Yes ABS using a drive axle sensors and pulsates the brake fluid so doesn’t matter the caliper or rotors.

No. Only the GS350 RWD F-Sport comes with 14” rotors. The OEM rotors are two piece and cost $250/each. The aftermarket Centric can be had for $32/each up to $75/each. Non FSport and AWD have IS350 calipers/rotors n
