We don't have an advanced team in my city but as I have been dancing for 9 years, I found watching videos very helpful in understanding my foreign partners' leading...So one can watch as many videos as he/she can, imagine that he/she performs some moves and of course, practice the moves she/he liked as you suggested! Hello :D It depends. You can have a "Cuban" motion, meaning your hips are on the opposite direction of your step (on 1 left step forward, hip diagonal right). About the head... i never think about it, instead I think about the shoulders (that's why maybe it looks like my head is moving). Actually, my shoulders are moving. Same shoulder, same step, shoulders always forward when stepping.
