Icebox's first rework was actually december 2020, 2 months after its release. This rework revamped the belt area of A site entrance, and added the see through fence under belt. It also removed the original double box on A site and replaced it with a smaller object which then later was changed back to a single box.
Nice compilation video for all the changes to maps throughout Valorant’s update history. I really like this video because it shows the evolution of the game as a whole.
sunset is great, it feels a lot less bloated compared to other maps, there aren't too many corners, the map's not too big, and it seems designed in a way where there are many ways to play it, without one single strategy working most of the time.
New valorant map starter pack: - hated but haven is loved - "akward angles" - "we need map voting" - "valorant is dying" - if riot take out from the map pool, everyone starts love it - lot of reworks - has lot of angles or corridors - it's an OP or Judge map
Icebox had two reworks, you completely missed the changes to the A site with the belt. it's one of the biggest changes a map received immediately after release
Lets be honest rn, sunset is small I agree and some agents are busted on it. But people hating fr, fun Map, only issue I have with it is A main is hard to clear as attacker, and if you're lurking or going quiet GL lol, but other than that. Good map.
not really I think it looks more like a combination of her current ult and kayo's knife. basically a non-ultimate killjoy ult that probably disabled abilities instead of detaining players.
New breeze is so mid in comparison to old breeze. I like the new A site and Mid Doors, but the rest of Mid and B are just worse. Its still Breeze so it's still one of the best maps, but def fell off.
i miss pearl. I have always loved pearl as a fade main, it was to me, a ridiculous amount of fun. Idk, to me it felt homey, it felt very comfy and cosy unlike say haven whr its bright asf and you gonna contend with 5 op angles or pre 2023 breeze whr its just sit far op. Or even fracture whr its just op watch 1/4 entry. At least when both lotus and sunset first came out i got to try it and i am fine with the maps i think they are great maps as a fellow initiator-sentinel player. My argument was they shldve removed heaven, and kept pearl. Haven, is obnoxiously outdated Same argument can be applied to ascent but its the starter map so we cant remove that. Haven is just, why? Why is it still here? Why isn't the change? Split has changes and it made it bearable to play i would prefer aim duels than spam shit at chokes, Breeze is now great IMO cause i can punish opers for having to big of an ego and even Pearl itself had changes 1 act in. So why not haven? The rotations are sooooooooooo predictable to the point ppl just camp But that's just me could be my disdain and disrespect for the ops and the odin. I use chamber, but i don't op other than the ult

While we live in 2023 this man lives in 2024.
i loved that in the tumbnail the year has not passed yet

I like middle breeze better with how open it was, without halls half of the map is gone
Ig icebox is the most reworked map of all the maps in the entire game as for pearl, the moment it felt good and balanced,it went out of rotation
4:10 why is there a flying chicken
We just gonna ignore the flying red chicken??? 4:10
was just about to ask that T-T
should have been kept in Valo
Not to be that guy, but it's "Divisive", not "Decisive"
2020 haven with those kill banners were kind of clean ngl
SUNSET be like "how the hell did a TD map get into regular games"
Stopped playing in like 2021 great infos to come back into the game
Old jett be lookin wild
Yo my brain can’t track everything can you slow it down 😂
skill issue L
2022 breeze was so good
It’s ascent 100% for the 2016 one cause top left minimal shows the exact layout of ascent
Fun fact: dice on ascent a site used to be 2 green wall bangeble boxes now they changed that
Old breaze was peak but then again I was a viper main now I play raze and or Reyna
Lets be honest rn, sunset is small I agree and some agents are busted on it. But people hating fr, fun Map, only issue I have with it is A main is hard to clear as attacker, and if you're lurking or going quiet GL lol, but other than that. Good map.
Ditto These Docu-Series on Valorants History are Amazing
heaven....
ppl who miss fracture 👇
*3
He’s arguing that it was ascent market and I’m just wondering why there is a chicken flying across the screen
You never disappoint the vids are good
What is this guy on about split, is the most balance map in the game rn.
And now split still needs another rework
the newest breeze took away my favorite map in the game honestly
Valo back then looks crazy
Bro is in 2024 💀
I miss icebox so much
i love split i dont get why everyone hates on it
How often do you all inhale water? serious question...
Maybe not as much as you do 😂
like... maybe 3 times a year. probably around a handful
At least 7 times a week
I love split. 90% of the problem is players who don’t want to fight middle. Icebox another map it’s the players not the ducking map.
U forgot dmfracture
That was deadlocks wall at 1:58
not really I think it looks more like a combination of her current ult and kayo's knife. basically a non-ultimate killjoy ult that probably disabled abilities instead of detaining players.
bro forgot abyss
Didn’t they change dice on ascent A site?
yeah i think the concrete block was originally a radianite box
what u on with split istg eveyrone i know has always loved split me included
Bro which map is this ?😅
New breeze is so mid in comparison to old breeze. I like the new A site and Mid Doors, but the rest of Mid and B are just worse. Its still Breeze so it's still one of the best maps, but def fell off.
Bro said lotus is a good map 💀 like if you disagree
I miss Fracture! Just que me Breach and give me the B site.
Split is the best
i agree old breeze feels better
5 MINUTES CLUB
I love split though
Maybe because I’m a rat
New map, new agent, i dunno man, after playing 2 yrs, i feel valorant need something new. Like some cusomisation or agent progression or something.
Im a duelist and initiator i Like the lurking. Better play smoker or sentinel then, wrong strat for your Agent picks
Did you just steal eggwick's video and pretend is your own?
sweet
Og Lighting is so much better
W Video
the new breeze imo is hot trash
New breeze is only good for bad players, good players would probably not enjoy it
just delete breeze and bring back ice box.
Same old breez was better
Breeze needs to be permanently deleted. Disgusting map
fr just remove split from the game!!!!!
Can we all collectively agree that sunset is the worst map to ever come out and Valorant really can’t make good maps at all?

They made pearl better, but imo, it is still the worst map. Keep it out, don‘t give it back please
im sorry but breaze, sunset and lotus are honestly the worst maps to be made and i dont think its possible to fix them
Ngl sunset is the worst map
not even close, it kinda reminds me of split but less chaotic. Breeze is the worst map imo
best*
Maybe im just weird bc i like new breeze but hate sunset
Sunset is new so no one likes it. Breeze was ALWAYS SHIT. Icebox was very mid and mixed all the way throughout.
@@ronweasly778 I like Icebox, as an omen main the elevation differences all across the map made for some easy kills
