The dropper is really the only corner cut. Put a Light Action Wolf Tooth Re-mote lever on and it is night and day better. It still sticks on the first pull but the LA WT will drop it when the KS lever might not. A better dropper is still on the list, but no longer a rush and the Wolf Tooth will stay. I wouldn't be upset if saddles went the way of peddles and you just had to supply your own. I never rode mine with the stock saddle. Measured my sit bones and ordered an Ergon before the bike left the shop. My AF is my do it all bike, road when the trails are closed, cross country when I don't have time to drive to a trail center, and let it rip bike when I do.
@@RomansDowntime I do have a couple of bikes that I haven't made a video on yet but I been on a hunt for an all around bike. the Ripmo seems to fit that prefect
I admire the Ripmo models. What I expect is more...colors. Colors of bikes are too dark, too girly, too damn woke. Seriously. A frame with the Stars & Stripes end-to-end, would be a best-seller. And I'm not referring to a model with a $10K pricetag. Any spec'd model, with a blue, or white, or red background, and glorious American Flag graphics. Just seems mountain biking is completely & legitimately...woke. Sure, My current Ibis, probably offends many liberal riders, with the immortal USMC colors(costly customized). But I don't care. I'm a Patriot. That use-to-mean something in America.

I recently got a slightly used Ripmo AF frame for $700
Well, color me jealous.

@@KeoOutdoors Dam, thats an interesting project. i can also see the Ripmo fitting the bill.
that norcal?
Good guess, its central.
Dude really called it an "eebis" ripmo. How do you reach adulthood without ever hearing how to properly pronounce "eye-bis"?
Fairly easy honestly 🤣
@@RomansDowntime haha fair enough. Loved the review
@@DB-sd3cw Lol, thanks, much appreciated 🙏
