i think because so many perfume videos are about the ones that are soooooo loved that it gets stale and people look forward to seeing what you dont like and why. its refreshing.

The “candied citrus” gets old REALLY fast quick on the skin.
1. truly hate BR540/ Cloud/ Burberry Her/All other similar perfumes. I cannot stand them.
2. Miami Glow is another one i feel very overrated.
3. Angel and Alien make me nauseous

I feel so seen lol. I can’t stand any of the ones you mentioned and so many more. I don’t care for any of the Ariana Grande perfumes really. I don’t like Mac Turquatic or YSL Libre either, none of the Libres actually. Most of Giorgio Armani’s fragrances are dislikes or meh to me as well.
I feel the same way for all in #1. This is her by zadig and voltaire, all PDM's are screechy and hurt my nose and all Kay Ali's smell very linear.
I also can’t stand Dolce & Gabbana L’Imperatrice and Coco Mademoiselle. The original Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue is way too sour, just like L’imperatrice.

I agree with you! I feel like it’s a maturity/ego thing. People are going to have different preferences and opinions, and that’s totally okay. Accept it and move on. Just because I like carrot cake doesn’t mean everybody else has to too. And I’m not gonna force them to eat carrot cake if they don’t like it. It sucks that fragrance youtubers get hate over having an opinion.

Angel's Share is one of my favorites, because it smells like the filling of an apple pie and totally embodies fall/winter for me. It is intense and I remember wearing it to a Halloween party and being a little overwhelmed by it. For me, it's a strictly "cold weather" fragrance, which means 3 days of the year living in Florida 😂
I first tried a decant of angels share and was under impressed. When I revisited it it grew on me! I side eyed the price tag of the OG so thought dupes would satisfy me. They didn’t. I ended up buying it at a decent price second hand and now need to declutter my dupes.

I didn’t like devotion at first, but the more I smell it the more I am liking it now. I layer it with lira ! Smells so good!!
I also hate Flowerbomb and Angel’s Share. But I love Fresh Cream. I wear it to bed often, so the lack of longevity doesn’t bother me, it just feels comforting
On my skin, Devotion starts like lemon ice tea (store bought one), and later on it's just vanilla.
It's funny how much difference skin makes.
I remember smelling a fragrance strip in a magazine that’s wasn’t mine for flower bomb so much so that I took the page out of the magazine. Smelling like that was my new mission in life. That started my love of perfumes

Love these "negative" videos 😂 I love Flowerbomb, it's way better than la vie est belle. And I have no problem people not liking it but it's annoying when it's compared to la vie est belle all the time 😅 I like very good girl, but I understand why it's not liked by all cause it's a bit "sour"..
I used to love flowerbomb by Viktor & Rolf but as I've gotten older I found I just disliked it.
Totally agree - love Flowerbomb and hate La Vie Est Belle. Flowerbomb is a happy scent to me, and La Vie Est Belle is suffocating.

I have the angels share and honestly it’s for winter wear only and depends on your body chemistry. It can turn sour and stinky on certain ppl. Luckily it doesn’t turn that way on me it’s sweet and mellow on me

Omg THANK YOU for the take on PDM valaya, I felt the exact same way when i tried it!! I was influenced by TikTok to order a sample and as soon as I sprayed it on my skin my nose was overwhelmed in the worst way. All I get from it is an intense screechy dryer sheet smell. I typically love clean girl scents, but this was one was not it for me. Wish I understood the TikTok hype but I’m glad I’m not alone!
Same! I think it must be the aldehydes but it was super noxious in the most literal way! 🤢 I gave it to my dtr-she loves it!

Fresh cream warm cashmere is one of my faves... smells like a softer more cookie like Bianco Latte on my skin.. total fave. I love the start of Devotion, I almost purchased it, but the dry down does not work on my skin at all. I loved the first 30 min, but then needed to wash it off. I tried Angel Share and loved it. I have a rule that I test 3 times before purchasing. Two more tries to go, lol. I really dislike flower bomb on me. All I could smell was sweet powder. I didn't like Fresh cream, I don't remember why? Funny how on skin, the scents change. Great vid as usual :)
I didn't like Devotion at first. It took me a while to come around to it. Now I love it! I have found to love it after layering it w iced lemon pound cake from BBW and lemon custard from Philosophy. Love your videos! ❤

Kilian’s Angels Share is in my top 5 for life! ✨ On my skin, it comes off as a deep, boozy vanilla with a hint of cinnamon & and woody base 😍 Plus, it lasts an eternity. lol

@@heavenjb for me when I hate a certain scent it’s “headache inducing”too, but I just don’t find anything really bitter on my skin unless the scent is meant to be medicinal.
@@leahding9691 ooo I just thought of one! ☝️ I’ve not smelled the real BR 54o!? But I’ve smelled red temptation to me that one is “bitter” I don’t like oakmoass at all!! Or marigolds! To me they give bitter so the old school obsession for women is bitter but the men’s is great! I’m curious if red temptation is a spot on dupe for BR540 as I didn’t get the spun sugar thing too much due to the bitter oak moss ha and as far as lemon? I’ve always had a lot of luck with the lemon scents I’ve chose 😅
Angels share is loud. Totally agree about not wearing it in warm weather. I was in a bar on a summers evening and someone else was wearing it and I found it suffocating and I love strong fragrances.
Had same experience with devotion, it is just to messy on my skin. And I also am not a fan of the OG Flowerbomb, however if you consider buying a flowerbomb again in the future, try the newest flanker called tiger lilly, that one I do like and enjoy! From the herrera line I have the OG Good Girl, The Very Good Girl Glam & The Blush Elixer and thats it for me 3 stiletto heels is enough😂 I am pretty curious about the newest flanker of the pepe jeans glasses, notes sound promising
Hi Ksenja! Mystique Bouquet from Afnan is a very good dupe of Valaya and you'd probably like it since people complain about the Akigalawood featured in Valaya - and it's not listed in MB. It's very clean and feminine and the bottle is stunning!

I respect your opinion of course and love your videos. I do love Flowerbomb lol. I see the similarity to La vi est Belle but I actually don't like La Vi and love flowerbomb. To me FB is more delicate, more feminine sofisticated. I get freshly made cookies with flowers around it and some tea note. I love it. When I first purchase it it has a woody note as well, as it got older that woody note is not there anymore. I also love Fresh cream lol. It hits the spot for me.

I'm excited for the Arab perfume vid. Habibi and Afnan ads've been popping up in my ads. More upscale houses than Target-like Lattafa, Swiss Arabian and Al Haramain? I'd like to know about the quality from department store to higher priced. Arab women have commented on other Arab perfume reviews that their kids, or them when they were really young, buy these scents but we all know that some of the "affordables" are to die for and shouldn't be talked down. I'd like to know the truth.

I prefer Akro Bake to Lira & Devotion. It's actually 1 of my top 10 favorites. I adore it.
Valaya is sooo sceeetchy to my nose to😘Dont get it at all!!

I want to add that yes try the Khamrah. I didn’t like it at first and then I loved it. I think it’s similar to angel share but not exact and I like it more. My daughter likes Angel share better. I also have the coffee version (Qahwa). But I ended up liking the og version better. I’ll be gifting to my sis because she likes coffee note scents. I think for the price point you can try it out. I got around $30. The Qahwa was around $50 I think because it was really popular at that moment. So definitely shop around.
OMG I am sooo with you on Devotion! It smells like pinecones with lysol and sugar! And the way that people defend it, it's like they have shares in D&G, sheesh! Also, so many people say "it took them a while to like it" and I think; why? If you don't like a fragrance buy another one! Don't allow influencers to brain wash you into liking something you don't!
Hey there. So I used to love fresh cream, but there was something about it that I did not like after a while on my skin and I think you just pinpointed it. It turned to a sour milk smell definitely. I do, however, like the fresh cream warm cashmere, as well as the fresh cream, soft suede, those I think are both very good and warm and cozy. Thanks for the video I enjoyed it.
I was with you until you mentioned Angels Share 😜 it’s one of my favorites for the cooler months. I came across it when I was just getting into fragrances a couple years ago and remember thinking…that’s different. At that point I only knew the more generic but popular perfumes like flowerbomb. so angels share opened me up to a whole new world of fragrance. But also, it smells amazing to me 😆
Also don’t like any of the others you listed in the video. I think when fragrances like Valaya and devotion are super hyped all over this platform you almost feel like something is wrong with you when you don’t like them so it’s almost a relief to hear an influencer like you let us know we’re not the only one.

I don't like Lira, and then Devotion smells like Lira+smoked bacon - I was just so repulsed (I wanted it to be a love so bad because of the bottle😆)

Valaya smells to me as a Baccarat rouge, Instant crush type of smell, nothing exciting there for me🙄
But Flowerbomb, omg,I just love it,but agree,soooo expensive... still haven't bought it for the same reason.

Angels’ Share is one of the best scents of all time for me. So intoxicating! I have khamrah as well, and I love that one too. It’s only about 85% similar. No booze and heavy on the dates.
Definitely dislike Very Good Girl! I couldn’t wait to wash it off. I like Fresh Cream the first time I smelled it in Ulta, but the last couple times it smelled like spoiled milk. 😬
Never understood the hype for LVEB, not a fan at all. Hubby dislikes that one too.
I really wanted to like Devotion. I can only handle one spray. If I do more than one I will feel nauseous. There’s something in it that turns my stomach.
Flowerbomb is not bad, but it’s just basic to me.
Khamrah is not an Angel's Share dupe.

I’ve heard that before and I didn’t call it a dupe, but they’re often compared. I believe Kismet Angel (now called Kismet Magic) is an actual dupe, but I still feel that Angel Share and Khamrah have some similarities. Not identical twins or even regular siblings, but cousins.
I feel you so much! I do like Angel's share and Fresh cream. I hate the rest 😂, I even get nausea and headaches with them. Btw, I've seen that Khamrah is similar, but it is duping another fragrance that has dates (I can't remember the name, sorry). I get with Khamrah a sweet apple pie with lots of cinnamon, I love it. Try it first! Do. Not. Blind. Buy!!!! And do not overspray, trust me on that 😅 You'll choke yourself. Love the new hair color 😊
I HATE Angels' Share. Hate, hate, hate. I don't even know why, because I adore the scent of cinnamon and apple pie, but as a perfume, it just annoys me the longer it stays on my skin. I really just never liked Angels' Share, and I've tried it over ten times now, but still dislike it. That being said, I LOVE Khamrah! It really is so much better. Yes they're similar fragrances, but they're not at all clones of one another, and I'd take Khamrah all day every day over Angels' Share. That's just my opinion and I know Angels' Share is loved by many. I just can't seem to get on board with it no matter how much I try to.
Valaya didn’t grow on me until I let the bottle set for a while. I found that the brand new PDM perfumes don’t smell as good until the bottle sits for a bit.
Once that fragrance matures, it smells incredible

I wanted to like Valaya because it's been hyped as The Scent for clean and fresh vibes, but I found it too sharp and harsh, and it had a musky drydown that I really wasn't a fan of. I still got the arabian dupe for it though since I still wanted to see if I can still get the clean spring/summery vibes everyone's been talking about...but for half the price! 😅

It's Mystique Bouquet by Afnan! Pretty much the same, but I think it's not too sharp and strong on the nose as Valaya is. 😊💐
I just bought Narciso Rodriguez Pure Musk because I tried a sample and was pleasantly surprised! I am not a fan of musk, it has to be carefully blended and this one is fresh w/out that soap -musk smell

As a dupe of angel share I have kismet magic it’s an arab perfume. I don’t know if it’s an exact dupe because I’ve never smelled the OG. But people are saying it’s the closest dupe. I was scared that to be too masculine but to my nose it’s not I really like it
I have kismet magic, to me it’s spot on.
That one is on my wishlist. I have Angels’ Share, but I want a good dupe so I don’t go through AS too quickly. So many people said Kismet Angel / Kismet Magic is the closest dupe. I can’t wait to smell it! I’m intrigued by the added chocolate note.
I have Kismet and Khamrah. I love them both. They are similar, but not exact dupes. Khamrah is more feminine and Kismet is more unisex. I have an AS sample as well. I won't be buying a full bottle when there are Khamrah and Kismet available for a fraction of the cost.
i totally agree with the philosophy cream perfume, if it was $20 i might’ve been ok with it but the longevity is just terrible for the price
Mystique Bouquet by Afnan is a Valaya dupe, but it’s the much smoother version. Such a wonderful clean perfume ❤❤❤
Earlier in some other video i also had recommended that you should buy Khamrah. I have 2 bottles already, me and mom are both obsessed over Khamrah. We never used to wear middle eastern or such kinda fragrances before buying Khamrah. But lemme tell you! Its fantastic! I love love your taste in perfumes so you should know that Khamrah smells like a christmas cake freshly baked out of oven! If you like cinnamon, vanilla, cloves raisins and the typical christmas cake smell.. go for it. And its a sweet perfume, the dates note and vanillic dry down is no joke. Its amazing for that price! But if you want a less sweetened and coffee added version try Khamrah Qahwa. I dont have Qahwa coz i love Khamrah even though its very sweet.. I'm told that I'd move on to Qahwa instead of OG if i purchased it as well.. so I'm staying with Khamrah itself.. I'd be really excited to know your reactions on both.. Also I must tell you, pls buy Ameer Al Oud intense.. some say it is masculine but omg it is perfectly unisex and its one amazing creation by Lataffa! I can't get over it.. It is supposedly duping By the fireplace but it's fantastic by itself.. It's super sexy, cozy, incredibly attractive layering scent as well.

Litchi is a note I also struggle with. Not a fan of tart fragrances at all.
Also, if you didn't like Lira and you haven't tried it, I recommend trying Dama Bianca. I feel a gourmand lover would appreciate it. It's not my preferred profile, but the performance and quality is very good.
You can try khamrah. Bit it is nothing like Angels share.Maybe the same direction but that is it.

Devotion has a screechy note I don't like initially. But the dry down is so good.
I had the same experience with Angels’ Share for the first time.. I think I tried it in a wrong time then (end of summer).
But I had my sample and revisited it in winter. And OMG! 🤩 noses are changing during a year (I work in a perfumery and I see it even on customers). Many times it realy depands also on a body chemistry! But my nose completely turned over😀 I’m addicted to Angels’ Share now!

If Devotion weren’t nostalgic for me I’d probably think it was forgettable. I used to wear a cheapie Delicious Cotton Candy by Gayle Hayman BH and Devotion smells exactly the same, it is like a grown up version of a scent that’s tied to so many childhood memories. That’s the only reason I love it.

hello! I am wondering if you would like Angels Share if you were able to try it in the dead of winter when its like 20 degrees out. You live in a very warm state, I live in NY and really love this one at Christmas time, BUT if I were to spray it when it's warm out...hell no it would stroke me out

Decluttered 15 celebrity fragrances. And since I'm pregnant I can't stand anything BR/cloud'ish 🤢😅
I ididnt like very good girl either when i got it as a gift so i did some researh to see if others felt the same.. someone on youtube said to let it sit and the vanilla will get stonger, mine has sat for 18 months since I got it. So I shake it up before I spray and it smells great now the vanilla has balanced out the letchi and is way more sweet and very close to delina exclusive.
I didn’t like devotion at first sniff. I tried it a few days and the dry down is where it’s at for me. Also it seemed super strong but it’s not. I get wiffs of it throughout the day and I love it. And layering it with iced lemon pound cake. I want to try Lira now too cause I’ll probably like it. I also liked angel share but it’s not something that I’d get full bottle of. I like or love a lot of your recommendations but not all. I didn’t like Miami Glow 😅. I do use it for summer. But I won’t repurchase.

I'm glad you mentioned Devotion; I liked it at first but towards the end of my bottle it turned 'straight citrus' (no vanilla) and it turned me off to it. There are better vanilla purfumes out there.
Ksenja can you make a video of perfumes with rose notes that you like ? I love rose but is so hard to find a beautiful creamy soft beautiful rose fragrance. And preferably not to expensive 😅

Flowerbomb was my signature scent ~20 years ago. I wanted to like Devotion and Valaya, but after multiple samples, I just don’t. I blind bought Lovely because it’s so inexpensive but I get cigarette smoke from it.
Go get khamrah (just 80% of angel share) and mystique bouquet by afnan (dupe of valaya but i havent smelled it) these are so afforadable so even if you dont like it it wont hurt! 😂 these are my faves and ive decided i cant live without them

Agree with almost all of these - I really want to like fresh cream and I’m convinced I’ll force myself to. Shocked you don’t like warm cashmere. It’s perfect to me. Better than Bianco latte imo. I wish it was as beast mode and I’d be in heaven.

I got the Khamrah even tho I actually liked angels share I didn’t like the alcohol note. So Khamrah is just cinnamon and dates it’s sexy. Truly unisex to me! You’re late getting yours! Ha BUT, i definitely had to macerate it for a month!! If you buy it? Maybe but a pre loved one that’s been macerating or buy it now to macerate until fall! Mine was not a love at first sniff! It needed a month
Lemon 🍋 is a hard one! I haven’t smelled devotion yet, but I hear a lot of people say cleaners when it comes to lemon, but I’ve never had that problem? I usually get zesty with lemon but I tend to prefer my lemon non gourmand! I like lemon and mint maybe some magnolia more fresh types of lemon scents

Burberry Her EDT and Valaya both smell the same on me as one another, so whatever it is in them that is similar, that might be what makes them smell bad on you (btw, they smell awesome on me 😂). I love flower bomb it’s one of my favorites I love the sweet smell it’s a scent that I chose to wear for myself not for the compliments I like to smell it on myself but I get the hate for the narciso rodriguez for her perfume my mom use to own it and I hate the way it smells as well

Try khamrah Qahwa. It's less sweet and coffee note is added. I like khamrah but its flanker is even better
Yeah I don’t like Burberry her edt in cooler weather it works in heat. When it dried down and in the heat it got sweeter. I don’t love it to get a full bottle but I got it in a travel spray. I sprayed on at ulta after a hot day and when your skins super warm after a hot day. That is when to spray it.
