@@droidfloid Yes 😅. Last Škoda only engine may be the 1.3mpi Felicia engine. Since then they are using VW engines.

is this rear wheel drive or all wheel drive?
99% of the time it’s front wheel drive, then some power is sent to the rear if front wheels loose traction
oh man why you put manual trans and not change gears in ACCELERATION ? U have to put trans into SPORT. Otherwise there is a delay when it comes to limiter. Leave it on automatic all :) And in 2nd acceleration u dit not engaged launch control at all (no ico on display lighted). U cannot use it :(
That was the intention - In 2nd LC not engaged at all because the weather was very wet and in 1st try could be seen little bit wheels slipping, man.
But yes, manual changing gears with no limiter could be better.
@@TopAutoPOV no, it did not launch because u didmt give it a time.
No manual changing gears, leve it in “S” (sport mode of tranmition). Pull the trans controller to you (not push to right, to right is manual).
And people still say that Skoda is trash...

Der Koffer geht ja wirklich nicht ganz schlecht aber der Sound ist doch Müll. Da hat man doch überhaupt keine Lust sportlich unterwegs zu sein
Zu schade, dass der Skoda um einiges billiger aussieht und sich auch so anfühlt von innen als der Passat. Sicherlich eine gute Alternative für Leute, welche auf Letzteres nicht allzu viel Wert legen und weniger bezahlen möchten für dieselbe Leistung, trotzdem fällt es auf.

What a disgrace there is no torque converter automatic transmission for that car. I can't stand DSG's ...

@@CortyCze The Maintenance is horrifying. And the durability is bad, especially VW-based DSG (which is used in Skoda).
Rather using a (same as fast) torque converter based automatic transmission like BMW does. The maintenance is pretty simple, after ~150 000 km simply change the oil. And drive another 150 000km. In Semptember I drove a new 340i (xDrive and M package) with such a torque converter and it was awesome. :)
@@BruceCarbonLakeriver That's just not true, I've seen enough times that DSG based cars can indeed run forever, seen 400k+ km still running. After all it's just two manual clutches. The ones that die run a lot of heavy traffic and aren't maintained properly.
@@BruceCarbonLakeriver I'm not disagreeing entirely tho, the first ones and the ones with dry clutches were indeed awful, but this one in this Superb that's 7 speed with wet clutches, these are good.
