Give your guests the unique experience of food prepared on a salt plate! This beautiful, pink slab of salt was originally mined in the Himalayas, then hand-crafted down to individual cooking plates. Cooking food on salt plates actually uses less salt than when cooking with ground salt, and imparts a rich, subtle flavor you can't get anywhere else. Use it on the grill, in the oven, or even freeze it to serve cold foods. For more information about The Companion Group's Himalayan Salt Plate, please contact sales@companion-group.com.
The Himalaya range occupies in Pakistan the regions of Kashmir, Kaghan, Kohistan, Deosai and Chilas. Yes ...Most of all Himalayan Salt comes form Northern Himalayan Mts...In Northern Pakistan...It sources it name from the mines in Himalayan Mts
Don't run it under water, it'll absorb it and break next time you heat it up or freeze it.
+jacobaaron11 We advise that you do not soak your plate, but that running it under a light stream of water to rinse is fine as long as the plate is stored a minimum of 24 hours in a well-ventilated space so that it can dry properly before its next use.
Buenos días, ¿dónde se consiguen ese tipo de parrillas?, y ¿qué cuidados se deben tener para que no se dañen?

Hi! Unfortunately, no we do not recommend using the salt plate on a glass top stove.
Um, I hate to tell you this, but your salt plate is not from the Himalayas. It's only CALLED that. It actually comes from Pakistan. :-) (But who wants to say Pakistan Plate?)
