Drummer is killing it.. very rarely in these types of bands do you see the rythm section getting the props it deserves and that guy is driving the tune. Awesome job. I'm a metal guy and even I can appreciate the talent that Williams has. Always surprised me that they knocked him for his voice or appearance... like anyone really cares about living up to a cheesy boy band. This guy is a real artist with his own personality, not some cut out spikey hair boy dork.
Chris Sharrock, one of my favourites drummer. Robbie had great musicians!

Robbie Williams is literally a character you would read in a book or watch on a movie. It's almost hard to believe he is real, he is such a character. Everything about him oozes entertainment. Love this man.

@@Yo-Man theres a few people that can sing certain Queen songs, and can do them justice, for example, George Michaels version of Somebody to love, or, IMO, James Hetfield from Metallica singing Stone Cold Crazy (I'm a Metallica fan, sue me :P), or, David Bowie singing Under Pressure (I know, he was on the original, gave him every right to sing it :P) but, there is only one man who can sing every Queen song, and do them justice, and I hope I don't need to name him............

This was the first time I ever saw Robbie Williams. This was the best performance of the day, rocking it the way Queen rocked Live Aid. And he knows it, starting off with a Queen song. He showed himself Freddie's heir (he owned that stage) and made me a fan. I never tire of watching this.
Actually tho his stage presence is only rivaled by freddie mercury
Crap. Queen's performance at Live Aid was voted The Best Live Performance Ever in 2005 by the industry. Williams was nowhere near giving that kind of performance by Queen/Mercury.

Are you from North America? Robbie was never huge in the USA & Canada the way he was in the UK and Europe. Kinda along the same lines as Kylie Minogue. That could be why you're not overly familiar with his work. 🤷♀️
@@SoulShines4Music Thankfully Robbie did try to crack the American Market 20 years ago with his album The Ego has Landed and I've liked him every since. A really good comparison that comes to mind is Cliff Richard, Cliff has been absolutely huge for generations around the world but is probably even less known than Robbie in the States.

I'm Canadian and know who they are and actually really love a lot of Robbie's music, going back to his work with Take That.
