I used to live in Goldsboro NC My dad was stationed at Seymour. miss the sound of the jets very much. The F.15 replaced the F.4s which my father worked on I salute all the men and women of our armed forces
One of the best fighters ever made for the Air Force. It is General Yeager's favorite jet. The F15 and F16 were brand new to the military when I entered the service. My first PCS was with the F15 Systems Programming Office in Area B of Wright Patterson AFB Aeronautical Systems Division in the late 70's. In the early 80's while assigned to Tactical Air Command which doesn't exist anymore, 56th Tactical Fighter Training Squadron, 4456th AGS, 72 Tactical Fighter Squadron MacDill AFB in Tampa we had a mix of fighters, bombers and other support aircraft such as C-130, C-141, C5 Galaxy and SR-71 Blackbird. At that time MacDill was a fighter only base and I was an F16 Crew Chief. There were also A-10's and Huey choppers. During the Summer months the flight line was deafening loud, and controlled ciaos. The temp was around 110 degrees during the day which was a mix of summer weather and jet fumes. We kept America safe during the Cold War with Russia. It is sad that both the F16 and F15s are being replaced and will retire. Now we all old veterans like so many of the previous wars and generations before us.
THATS STILL A BAD ASS JET, SORRY TO SEE ITS GOING TO BE REPLACED WITH 22, IT WAS ONE OF THE BEST LOOKING FIGHTERS EVER TOO, HARD TO IMAGINE NOT SEEING THEM ANYMORE, BUT I GUESS ITS TIME HAS COME, IUSED TO PUT MODELS OF IT TOGETHER WHEN I WAS A KID, SO ITS BEEN AROUND A WHILE
arthur duda They still make the F-15 I retired from Boeing St.Louis in 2014 and they are still making them today. They will be around a long time! The F-15 is a Great Fighter Jet! Watching this video reminds me of being at work launching and recovering A/C, well back to being retired! Lol
Jack Boyer One of F-15’s Tails says 87 so it was probably delivered in about 1989. I worked on these at the plant so I would know. F-15 a Great A/C. (Aircraft)
I believe most of these F-15's are the E model. The F-15E is a two seat strike fighter and came into service in the late 80's. The last F-15E to be bought by the US was in the early 2000's.
after gripen i hope phil air force will have this f15 even six pcs of it, bramos missile , s400, and 30 pcs missile gun boat for the protection of the pilipino people forign invasion.LETS PRAY FOR IT....

The 22 sucks compared to modded E model. And cheaper.
arthur duda Love these F15’s! Doesn’t make sense to replace a jet with a slower jet, but what do I know!
Legend F-15 E Strike Eagle
thats a muscular fighter jet💪
Aesthetically it is a much more beautiful jet than the f16 in every way.

There are two seats so one can fly while the other eats crayons
The great F15 USAF jet grime reaper.
Most of these F 15 are older than the pilots that fly them. Just like the B52's
