My young kind hearted son almost lost his life picked up a stranger walking in the snow. The guy kidnapped stabbed him and stole my sons truck. Luckily the knife missed his lung. They caught the guy from DNA off a pop can a lifelong violent felon resident of the Ohio dept of corrections out on parole. Judge accepted a plea deal dropped most charges wasn't considered a carjacking or kidnapping. Warn teens to never give a stranger a ride

The same is true in reverse. If you're out there walking for whatever reason, don't accept a ride, either. Best not to be too trusting.

Hey man, thanks for covering this. I am Robert Craig Jr. The Robert Craig in the story was my dad. Another thing to add to the story is that my mom was pregnant with me when this guy killed my dad. My dad had just cashed his paycheck and had a couple hundred in his wallet that Beuke never took.

Hi Lamont. He was trying to complete the rosary. You say the Hail Mary 3 times then 50 more completes the rosary cycle. He didn’t want to die even though he was okay with taking others life’s. Only God knows if he was sincere
People do actually change but we would never know that if we continue to kill them.. I'd rather him being alive and telling his story to save others than him being dead what can a dead man do? Nothing that is why this world is like it is. What he did was wrong, yes but that doesn't mean he deserved death. I doubt he learned this prayer just for this occasion he must have been praying and getting to know Our Lord..

He said it all the way to hell if he didn’t actually make amends with his maker. How can you take someone’s life and then beg for yours? Hopefully he was, takes no sweat off my nose if he wasn’t and is dealing with the consequences.
Well I was always taught what goes around comes around. He got exactly what he gave.
Shameful to fight & cry for monsters while completely ignoring the victims and their poor families. KNOWN murderers such as this should be disposed of the day after their sentence of capital punishment. If there were true consequences for their actions, the next monster may take heed.

absolutely anyone who sincerely turns to him in repentance and faith, even at the last minute....the bible says, "he is patient with us, not wanting anyone to perish. but come to repentance...they will go to heaven but they will not get rewards...like we will.

I am a catholic and I believe in the death penalty, I am sorry there are so crimes that you commit that you forfeit your life for.
Don’t get me wrong, seeing someone like Dylan Roof die would be satisfying as hell, but humans and the justice system are too fallible to play God. Since 1973, at least 189 people sentenced to death in the U.S. have been exonerated after the fact. That alone is enough reason to ban the death penalty.
You are a liar, if you say, you are a believer of Jesus Christ, because one of God commandments is ‘ thou shall not kill’ saying you are catholic does not make you closer to God, God says if you love me, you will keep my commandments no child of God, believe anything that goes against what God teaches, God says many will say they are of him, but they are of they’re father the devil it is written
i'm a catholic too. jesus said "thou shalt not kill." no qualifiers there.
The death penalty is 100% biblical. Yes people can be forgiven, but that doesn't mean they shouldn't pay a price for their crime.
I agree with you. If he really believed and repented it shouldn't have bothered him this much to meet his maker, since he was simply going home.
The sound is cicada(jar fly) , here in the forest where I live in the south , there are hundreds ,if not thousands, they are so very loud , drown out every sound, the forest around my house is full of them ...you know it is a very hot, humid day when they are loud before noon, the hotter , the louder ....the sounds of summer in the south....be glad when fall gets here ....thanks lamont...appreciate you always....🙏❤
Well if he was sincere in his prayers and not stalling for the inevitable, he would still face his maker who would know if he was sincere with the prayers and went to purgatory instead of hell. RIP to the one victim and healing vibes to the others and teir families.
There is no purgatory. Jesus never spoke of purgatory, only hell.

Great story, Lamont. If I was the executioner, I would not let him stall the execution. I would have given him three minutes to say his prayers and that would be it. And I am being nice about it. If anyone pulled a gun on me as I drove my car, I would smash the car into another car or into a brick wall, not caring what happens to me. I would not let someone be in control of me or of my vehicle, no matter what. I would not be so stupid to pick up a hitchhiker in the first place, so this would never happen to me. I was told a story of someone who picked up two teenage kids, boy and a girl, who pulled a gun on him as he drove. He got the gun away from them, killed the girl with it, and tried to kill the boy but the boy jumped out of the car and ran for his life. He was unable to get a shot at him. He took the girl's dead body out of the car and dumped it in the woods in a desolate area. This man never told his wife about what he did. He had to tell a close friend as well as the woman who told me of this, who was a co-worker of his. This is just one of the many reasons why I do not pick up hitchhikers, no matter how innocent they may appear to be. Looks can always be deceiving. I am glad that this POS was executed. I wish I were there to be a witness to it. I would laugh at him all the way to his death and spit in his face if I could. REST IN PEACE TO HIS VICTIMS AND GOD BLESS THE ONE WHO LIVED. BURN IN HELL MICHAEL BUEKE....BURN IN HELL !!!

I haven’t even seen a hitchhiker for many years. The important thing is never to go anywhere with a criminal. If they try to take you away, fight to the death. At least your family can find you and give you a decent burial.

He should have had this taken care of by the time they removed him from his cell by the 'scheduled' time of execution. People also receive if any incarcerated person asks, spiritual counseling from their designated religious clergy in a private jail cell.

On a rosary you have five decades of the hail Mary that's 50 times and before that you say it three times. So apparently he was trying to do a rosary. I haven't started watching this yet but it's interesting how after they do all their horrible crimes and deeds then they think about being saved instead of when they start their horrible deeds they don't think about that

I know of a lady that her daughter was murdered. The mother would visit the guy every week and would teach him about Jesus. Through her the man was saved and through Jesus she forgave. From my understanding she visited him til she passed away.

I can't believe I hitch hiked as a teenager so much and lived through it. It was usually on the way to high school because I wanted to save my bus money to buy candy. One time I forgot my purse in this man's car. He actually drove to my school and dropped it off for me. Geesh, I was lucky to say the least. I sure wouldn't be that dumb today .... or that lucky!

Too monstrous to not receive the death penalty, and also too stupid to not get it. He may have very well changed his character in prison, he may very well have no longer been a monster, but he still has to pay for what he did. If he had converted to a non-Christian religion, no Catholic priest, or any Christian priest, would have said a damn thing for him. Your religion cannot convict nor pardon you.
To be fair, they do try and intervene on any execution.
Christianity is a way of life. If you have faith in God's salvation offered through Christ, he will pardon you.

We camped once and the Cicadas were so loud it became scary. It was non stop and as loud as a metal concert.
They are "nature's thermometer" the louder they are , the hotter it's going to be the next day.

I'm a Catholic, and yes, 50 Hail Marys is basically a rosary - 5 decades, 10 Hail Marys each. Haven't watched this video yet, but it better not be a mockery of this powerful prayer to the Virgin Mary, the rosary, and Catholicism. It's totally normal to pray when you're staring death down.

One thing I don't get is that when someone is on death row is that they don't want to die by the needle saying that it is inhumane an that they suffer well hell what about his victims they suffered an they were in pain when he had shot and killed an putting one in a wheelchair so no I don't feel sorry for those kind of people who don't have any mercy on what they had done to there victims so the victims got there justice

These prison systems should have a special panel of private citizens who draw lots, matchsticks or ??? ro decide if these heinous murderers die by lethal injection,the gas chamber or execution squad ..These types of murderers like to be in control of other people especially of the unsuspecting innocents. As the laws stand in society, they know if they get caught exactly how they will die and can legally fight it that it is too predictable of their 'future' and how they will leave this earth. Change this up to a panel of people who get to make a selection of choices to choose for the criminal...and this taking away of control and predictable power over others will drive their minds permanently mad.

I remember hearing about this case when he was executed (I live in Western Australia) - apparently; his was the longest final statement ever given prior to execution. I don’t know if the record still stands.
He was praying the rosary 52 times? It takes me at least 15 minutes to do it once!!!! BTW, the rosary is a beautiful prayer.

We have them in D.C. too, but there are different "broods" on different cycles. There are 10 year cicadas, 17 year, and others. It’s interesting to research.

Lamont, u mentioned the forgiveness of the man near the end of this video. That reminds me of a 24 hour gas station here in my town where a guy walks in to rob the place and shoots the young man working as the attendant and leaving him paralyzed if im not mistaken. Later, during the suspects trial, that young man forgave that guy in that court room for sending him to a life in a wheelchair. Man, that takes a LOT!!
Lamont, I believe the sound you are hearing is the summer song of cicadas. The hotter and wetter the weather, the louder they are. I grew up in Houston and we were often driven inside because they were deafening.

Since you are near Dayton. My mom told me that in the 80s or 70s in the trailer park she grew up in moraine Ohio, there was a gruesome murder where these two boys murdered their friend and it was nasty what they did.the guys are still in prison.
