My next bike will be a Kawasaki ZRX! These bikes are the perfect combination of old school sport bike styling with the power and handling to ride hard. Such a cool bike even in 2022!

I loved the sound and look of your ZRX greatly through the #WRR series, but seeing what you got out of the bike on the track is amazing and testament to your skill and control as a rider. Some series lean angles and drive through and out of the corners ... through the rain too!
I dont know why anybody would not think thats a sport bike. It got a bad ass engine, and looks like a sport bike. Seems like a sport bike too me. and a good looking one.
I owned a '01 ZRX and I loved the bike. If you search for the word "hooligen" you'll see the ZRX. I've been riding daily since I was 16(started@13) and the Kawi motor is amazingly buletproof. I put 20,000mi. on her and all I did was oil/filter, tires and 1 calender valve adj.. The bike liked to lift on shifts due to it's light front and was super easy to power wheelie. It was "twitchy" at under 60 but smoothed out the faster you went...go figure. It took some time to tune the stock forks just right.
You're really rather good at that! ZRX1200 owner here but I've only done one track day (it was in the wet too) so I thoroughly enjoyed watching you throw yours around like a bike half its weight.
I love my 03 ZRX1200R . The ZRX deserves respect . I don't really race but people on super sport bike think they can leave me in the dust but are shocked that I can keep right up with them. And if someone has the money or know how the ZRX can be sooped up to be really fast and powerful. Mines stock but it quickly jumped up to 145mph with some throttle left. Their are several ZRXs on RUclips that have been sooped up to 180-200+ hp. And a few place 3rd and 7th place on the pikes peak race.
Just picked up a 2003 zrx 1200r Can't wait to get some miles on it! I was on Mid Ohio course once in my fj1100. There's nothing like being on a real race track!
I have nice pics of my FJ 1100 on trac...black wheels...red wolf 4 in 1 and I took of the front transparent wind shild...make look the front fearing lower more like now today sport bike
Love it. I plan some day to do some track time on my black 2000 Zrex. I just have the Bridgestone BT Sport tourers on and a few other power mods and the flipped eccentric.
Epic, man. Wow. I've got an '02 1200r....love it. Haven't truly opened it up yet...only hit about 130mph on highway riding...and haven't hammered it above 8k really. I know it's fast, but I have no idea what it's like compared to a more modern sportbike.
nice riding, you look smooth. my only critique would be to stop moving back to the middle of the seat! :) If you have two consecutive rights, stay pre positioned for the next corner.
I have just bought a 2005 1200R with a full Yoshi pipe, still to pick it up...........bloody hell, I want to get it on the track, failing that it will be my Outeniqua Pass (in South Africa) scratcher!!

BIGGER top end. About 30hp more beefier swingarm and and bigger rear rim tire. For me. Getting a clean 12 for same money. Is what I'm getting. I still loved my 99 1100 though!

What engine mods have you done to this bike? Any help would be nice I am at 112 hp now w/ full header and stage 2 jets and also did a 180 tire up size.Do you know the part # for the K&N pods? Have you done a timing advance?

I had a 1200R it felt sloppy below 90. Anything above that it was glass! This bike love 100+ mph.

I have a 1200; I'm always cautious in corners, it feels so heavy to bend. Other than that I won't change it for anything...

the 1100 is faster, 1200 has beefyer swing arm and holds more gas I think

Yeah 1200 def faster straightline, a lot of experienced ZRX guys claim the 1100 handles better but I couldnt say as I've not ridden the 1100.
